Before the revamp of the Steamfont Mountains, there were two types of minotaur slavers: "a minotaur slaver" and "minotaur slaver". The latter one is no longer found in the zone.
I've leveled my gnome mage from 12 to 14 killing just Minotaur Slavers and Mountain Brownies looking for a minotaur scalp and a brownie leg for my newbie armor.
I've gotten several axes, some nice gems, some blood and a lot of coin as well as a full stack of brownie parts, but no scalps or brownie legs.
Is the drop table on these correct? Do they really drop the gems listed? Theres some pretty expensive stones listed there considering the level of the minos. Maybe they are confusing the slavers with the higher level minos because if the slavers dropped those stones, they would be more camped than the aqua goblins used to be pre-nerf.

these guys are lower-mid end fighters, not as weak as some stuff of comparable level, but they hit quite a lot. if they have an axe, though, they are considerably tougher to handle.
To address the Ripem comment above. Yeah these guys are wussy's but they are just the tease that gets you into the caves so the Minotaur Hero can come and clean your clock. I think the reasoning is that if you are going to take the chance and hunt in the Hero's playground the least they (Sony) could do is make the slavers easy, kinda the attraction to get you into the caves so you can be the Hero's next lunch. You takes your chances.
