Hello. I can aid you in finding out where you can obtain more power within your school of magic or combat arts. Just refer to a specific period of time and I will give you the information you seek. You can choose between Gates of Discord, Omens of War, Dragons of Norrath, Depths of Darkhollow, Prophecy of Ro, The Serpent's Spine, The Buried Sea and Secrets of Faydwer.

You say, 'Gates of Discord'
You say, 'Omens of War'
You say, 'Dragons of Norrath'

Originally these spell and combat abilities were received from tougher named creatures roaming around that dropped runes. Now however, you can either search for them within the Bazaar, or find an intelligence caster to research your spell. (Note that the Research tradeskill is no longer limited to intelligence casters nowadays.)

You say, 'Depths of Darkhollow'

Travel to the Depths of Darkhollow, and find Kelliad, Brovil Pallivineg and Jarzarrad the Prophet. They will advise you further on how to obtain your spells and combat activites.

You say, 'Prophecy of Ro'

In the Prophecy of Ro, you will need to complete various tasks assigned within the specific themes. Tak`Valnakor and the Spirit of Ao the Fourth Born are a couple of the beings you must find to complete with task.

You say, 'The Serpent's Spine'

Spells and combat abilities can be purchased from vendors within the Serpent's Spine.

You say, 'The Buried Sea'

In order to purchase your spells and combat abilities within The Buried Sea you must first obtain the correct faction needed. Certains spells will become available starting when the merchants become indifferent to you. Others will need to completely trust you as an ally.

Halon Griere is who you must find and use doubloons to purchase your spells and combat abilities. Doubloons are found within group missions and can also be traded. He can be found within Jardel's Hook.

There are several merchants in Katta Castrum who will take your Orux to purchase your spells and combat abilities. Orum is found within group missions and can also be traded.

You say, 'Secrets of Faydwer'

The 1st rank of spells is mainly purchased from merchants. They can be found within several of the Secrets of Faydwer zones.

The 2nd rank of spells are also mostly on merchants who will only sell them to you once you have met their faction's requirements.

The 3rd ranks are rune dropped, and combine with pieces from various missions.
