It looks like next week the developers will be ready to allow us to move characters between servers!

Over the last few weeks the team has implementing a transfer system to allow both players and guilds to move between our servers. This technology was not available for WAR at launch and building it has proven to be a little more complex than originally expected. I’m happy to say that starting next week we will begin public testing of the service and if things go well, we will be able to offer it free to our players (for a limited time) either next week or the week after that. I apologize for the delay in making this service available but again, it did take a little longer than we originally expected.

There have been additional experience enhancements announced today, focusing on experience awarded for killing enemy players in Open RvR areas:

With the addition of the new region-wide and RvR-wide chat channels we have seen a marked increase in Open RvR participation. In order to encourage this trend even further, we have made an additional adjustment to the experience awarded for killing enemy players in an Open RvR area. Previously we increased this amount by 50%. As of today, that bonus has been raised to 100%. With this change players killed in Open RvR will now be worth double the experience than those killed in scenarios!

Since the release of the site we've introduced nineteen different guides, ranging from zone starter guides to information on bestiary unlocks.  To celebrate our 20th guide we are introducing the first career guide, which is about the Witch Hunter !

Witch Hunters are offensive fighters that rely upon their quickness and stealth (Incognito) to do tremendous amounts of damage during battle. Armor equipment is generally light, so no heavy steel plate outfits here. If you can pull off surprise attacks with ease, the Witch Hunter will serve you well.

Mythic today announced two additional careers you will soon be able to play, the Dark Elf Black Guard and Empire's Knight of the Blazing Sun :

LET THE TANK RUSH BEGIN! Mythic Entertainment today announced that two new careers, the Empire’s Knight of the Blazing Sun and the Dark Elf Black Guard, will be added to Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning this winter. They may be on different sides of the war, but these two heavily armored warriors have one thing in common: they can take as much punishment as they deal out on the battlefield!

Servers will be coming down on Monday morning for maintenance focusing on the mail system:

We're planning to take the servers offline on Monday morning for maintenance, focusing on the in-game mail system. US servers will be offline beginning at 6:45 AM EDT, and are expected to return by 11:00 AM EDT. Oceanic servers will be offline at 1:45 PM EDT and are expected to return by 4:30 PM EDT.

If you are having troubles with accessing billing support, here is some important information for you:

Due to current high demands on the billing system at the Mythic Account center players attempting to subscribe or edit their billing information may experience time out issues when saving their account information.

If this occurs please do not hit save multiple times as, like many retailers, it may charge your account twice. Should this occur we will issue a refund to you as quickly as possible for the extra amount billed, however, it can take several days.
