strategy game

Strategy Games differ from MMORPGs in many important respects, but the most important is probably the general lack of a player avatar. The player is usually above the play, outside of it and looking in. This 3rd-person viewpoint separates the player from the life (and death) of the unit(s) he controls.

Strategy Games can be in Real-Time or Turn-Based.
