Speak to Harla Dar at -104, 51, 738 Copy on Veeshana Tol within the Vesspyr Isles to begin this quest.

Talon Roots

1. Gather 8 talon roots. These look like normal roots but have a purple sparkle effect. Known locations:
• -170, 31, 861 Copy
• -294, 9, 846 Copy
• -446, -29, 634 Copy
• -68, -8, 623 Copy
• -40, -35, 749 Copy
• -330, 3, 801 Copy
• -399, -17, 574 Copy
2. Place roots on the altar at -39, 53, 790 Copy
3. Consume the roots by clicking on the altar again and enter the instance The Temple of Scale: Vision of the Priestess
• This instance uses the lower Sanctum of the Scaleborn map
4. Follow the hall, go through the door, then climb any of the three climbable walls
5. Kill 17 members of the Awakened
6. Kill Harla Dar
7. Click on the forcefield at 12, 122, 262 Copy to leave the vision
8. Return to Harla Dar to complete the quest.

Upon completion of this quest you will open up Ireatan's quests, starting with Quills of Pain. Marech on the smaller Veeshana Tol isle will also offer his first quest, Marech of the Wurm Mother.
