Analysis

Weakness is a harmful status effect that reduces the overall power of the character for the duration of the effect. Characters afflicted by Weakness have their maximum HP and MP reduced to approximately 1/4 their normal levels and suffer from a potent Slow effect.

Double weakness is an additional harmful status effect that occurs if an already weakened character is Knocked Out again and raised. This effect, in addition to the effects from the additional weakness, also inflicts a drastic accuracy and attack down effect on the character.

How to Remove This Effect

There is no way for a character to remove Weakness on its own before its duration has passed.

  • Re-entering a Dynamis zone during the same time reservation inflicts a potent Weakness effect that, apart from the normal Weakness effects, also inflict a significant Weight effect.
    • This effect lasts for ten minutes.

  • If a Thief fails to open a treasure chest or coffer by picking it using items such as the Skeleton Key, it is possible that a potent weakness effect will be inflicted. In addition to the normal Weakness effects, the afflicted Thief will be unable to pick any other chests or coffers for the duration of the effect.
    • This effect can last up to sixty minutes.
