At right you see one of the newer Void Beasts as they appeared in GU47 and later. We will call them "Type B". The "Type A" Void Beast, seen below, is familiar to any adventurer that has spent time in any of the Obelisks. These are not. however, the only creatures in this category. The "hand things" are also members.
