History
In the year 1697 of the Second Age, Ulerond Celebolass (Sindarin for Silverleaf) was born in the newly established Elven City of Rivendell. His parents fell during the siege on Rivendell just two years later, causing he and his brother, Aegres Celebolass, to be raised by the House of Elrond Halfelven.
Ulerond was a student of Elrond Halfelven, learning all he could about combat, defense, and the art of metalsmithing. At the age of 1014, he began crafting masterwork level armours and produced some of the highest quality works of the smiths from Imladris. With the conclusion of his studies, he spent much time exploring Middle-earth.
In 3430 of the Second Age, Ulerond was responsible for the command 300 Elven Soldiers during The Last Alliance of Elves and Men. The war raged for eleven years, ending with the eventual defeat of Sauron. The Second Age ended with the war's conclusion and the Third Age of the World began. Unlike many of the Elves at that time, Ulerond has remained behind with Elrond in Imladris, continuing to serve as one of the guards.
In year two of the Third Age, Ulerond wed Maliril Greentree in Imladris. Three years later, Duvainwen Silverleaf was born. Their second daughter, Areanna Silverleaf, was born the following year while returning from a visit to Lothlórien. A great sadness overcame Maliril some years later and eventually forced her decision to leave for Valinor, leaving Duvainwen and Areanna in the care of their adar.
