The Golden Path

"The Golden Path" is the name of a suggested path of progression from SOE that helps players follow an efficient and more natural path as they level up. The goal of the developers was to focus their attention on certain zones to make them a "top-notch" experience. There is no official quest series involved with The Golden Path, the closest thing being a Hallmark series called The Legend of Roger Goldie which moves the player from Butcherblock Mountains through Kylong Plains.

Some of the level ranges reflected below overlap due to the wide range of quests available in many of the zones. We have added zones beyond the "Roger Goldie" experience that reflect the current day solo leveling path.

General Progression

The following table maps the "natural" progression from each home city. You can go to any zone at any time (barring a few alignment restrictions), and can jump back and forth easily to any quest series in the appropriate tier for your level.

Depending upon your class, it is possible to begin some quest series before the noted level. Some classes simply fight higher mobs easier.
