Rift Quest:View from the Hill  

From the telescope head back to Quarrystone Basin and take the southern exit from the camp. As you follow the road out of camp you will notice a small bit of ruins to the west. Inside these ruins you will find the Ethian Chest. After interacting with it you will have to defend yourself against two ghost defenders.
