A few seconds into the fight he casts a white area of effect on the ground, targeted on a random player and does a small amount of damage, however if stood in the player will be thrown. This then becomes a rock pillar which acts as a line of sight barrier.
He then emotes: *Kaler Andrenos calls on the power of the abyss*
Immediately run behind the pillar or line of sight the boss to avoid his massive damage multi-target AoE.
As a tank you can tank this boss anywhere. However, if you pull him over 'next' to the cave to the right of where you start you give your other party members more areas to hide than just the pillar. Do not pull him into the cave; tanking in the cave will cause your DPS to group together and cut off line of sight of the boss, which will make the fight last drastically longer.
Rinse and repeat.
The fight is the same as above, with the addition of a debuff on a random party member. If you have the debuff, avoid all other party members at all costs. The debuff will do medium damage ticks (~800 damage) to nearby players and knock them around, potentially out of hiding and instantly kill them.
Pulling the boss into the cave is a sure way to wipe your party by forcing them to group together due to LoS issues, and naturally the above debuff will wipe you in this scenario.
