Rift Mob:Eliam the Corrupted  

Expert Fight Encounter

This fight is like any rift event you know. First the will spawn some adds and then finally Eliam.

Eliam begins channelling a dark power!: Announced on the screen as raid warning. Confuses any player who is facing him, making them unable to react for a few seconds. Self buffs him making him bigger in size, dealing more damage and slowing him. As soon as he is loosing his buff he will shrink back to normal size and running into the middle starting channelling:

Final Blow: As long as Eliam is channelling this he is immune to everything. When the spell is cast every player in the instance is killed instantly. to interrupt the spell all spawned adds have to be killed. He starts with 2 adds and every time he casts this again he will spawn 2 more adds (so you get 2,4,6,8...).

Then he will target a random player and cast a beam and a debuff. Few seconds after an explosion will be cast on the player, slowin the player and leaving a burning ground damaging for about 800 a second. Strategy Some of the adds in the beginning are healer - either control them or down them first to make things easier.

Tank him in the middle, as soon as he grows in size kite him around. Be sure to face away when he announces the dar power cast.

The others stay in a half circle split up outside. Turn around on the dark power (or stand in the ground of power as fire mage). If you get the beam be sure not to stand near others. After the explosion move quickly out of the fire ground.

Whe the adds spawn kill them fast, because if Eliam finishes his cast you will die. You have to kill Eliam fast, too, because he will repeat spawning adds over and over again until he is dead and every time you get 2 more adds. Try NOT to pull the adds together because the have a stacking buff that reduces damage the more of them are together. So single target one and burn it fast. since the adds deal nearly no damage (about 90 per hit) any player can simply target one and kill it.
