Recruit1
Resistant to Electric, Virulent, Incendiary, and Cryogenic Damage
All AFS recruits train in the use of Motor Assist armour. This gear increases the user's movement speed. Without additional training, this boost is relatively modest. For troops that invest enough time and energy, a bonus in running speed can be attained with a full suit. This armour's poor combat stats prevent it from seeing heavy use. Issuance of this light armour in basic training should be considered a stopgap while new recruits learn to master more potent weaponry and defences. Once a soldier completes basic training and acquires superior gear, Motor Assist armour is best reserved for scouting or traversing large distances without fear of attack.
