Basic Upgrader

This is the basic layout of the Item Upgrader, this screen can be found by clicking on any of Your Characters and following the link through there. This tool is used for finding different gear for your character based on your search criteria.

Expanded Upgrader

Showing all the different search fields, you can see that there are many options for tweaking your search results. If you are specifically looking for only +mana regen gear, you can give that stat a higher weight. The weight will help determine how the final search results are scored for relevance. There are some templates for things like DPS gear or Healing sets. At the bottom left, is a Minimum Stats area. These fields are used to give the upgrader a minimum, something like Spirit +6, or Agility +10.

On the right side column, at the top, are fields to specify a level range. Underneath that is a toggle for random effects, such as weapons that will randomly deal extra fire damage. Beneath that is a section for the Item itself. You can specify a level range for the item, if it will bind on pick up, it's quality, speed, and any other random effects you may be looking for. Finally, at the bottom right, you can select how you aquire the items, be it quested, crafted, or bought.

Basic Results

Once you have selected your search criteria and performed an Item Upgrader search, your results will look something similar to this thumbnail. The upgrader shows you what you are currently wearing in each slot, it's general point value based on your search criteria, and the number of possible upgrades found (the number shown in parenthesis.)

Expanded Results

If you click on any of the items you currently have equipped, that slot will be expanded to show the possible upgrades that were found. They are ranked by score, which is based on your search criteria. Each entry in the search results shows a lot of information about the item, and each can be clicked to go to the database entry for that item.

The information displayed on each row can include the item's level, how it is aquired, and an average AH price or crafting materials price.
