FigurePrints Announces Price Increase

FigurePrints, a company that creates custom miniatures of your WoW characters, has announced an upcoming price increase. The new $129.95 is about a 30% increase over the previous $100 price point. Still, not too bad for a piece of art.

FigurePrints is committed to bringing you the highest quality product possible at the lowest price. One of the things we have learned over the last six months is that our material costs are much higher than we had anticipated. To address this and enable our artists to maintain our high standards we will be increasing our price to $129.95 starting with the July drawing.

Hunt For Illidan Loot Cards Announced

Upper Deck has been releasing information on the forthcoming set, Hunt For Illidan, due in stores in just over 2 weeks. However, they have been holding out on the one thing MMO players care about -- the loot cards!

The cards have finally been announced. The super common will create a buff that leaves trails of green flame behind the player. The medium rarity card will allow players to summon a disco ball, similiar to the Picnic Basket, which players can click on to receive a special song playing in their sound, and lights up the area around you.

The rare card is a special non-combat pet: a full-sized ethereal follows you! In addition, he absorbs the souls of creatures you kill that award experience, and lets you buy special items with the souls he collects. Does this mean he functions as a vendor you can sell to in the wild? We don't know!
