Get into the holiday spirit with WAR's latest in game event- the Dwarf New Year's festival of Keg End.

Running from the 17th of December through to the 5th of January Keg End is a festive extravaganza packed with great new items, monsters, events and challenges for players to master. Keg End is filled with the things Dwarfs like best - Beer, Boasting and things that explode.

We will be bringing down the Badlands and Dark Crag servers this afternoon starting at 2:30 PM EST. We apologize for the short notice. At this time our estimated downtime on these servers is approximately 4 hours. As such, we expect both servers to be back online by 6:00 PM EST.

Nordenwatch has been defeated by both Order and Destruction! Well, not really. The developers are just tweaking a few things, so it has been disabled for the time being:

During our investigations of scenario stability we have had to disable Nordenwatch on all servers as we work on the solution for the crashes many are experiencing while participating in this and other scenarios.

We'll reactivate it as soon as we've corrected the issue and thank you for your cooperation at this time.

In addition to this we have a number of changes in the works to address the concerns that have been brought to our attention today, we'll post an update as soon as one is available with all the great, additional changes we've made.

With the release of Update 1.1a the team brings us some advice on managing the zMail AddOn, as well as how "Overflow" inventory events function.

zMailMod

Concerning zMail, you must disable this addon at this time as it will cause the mail system not to work properly. Please do not submit bugs or petitions about the mail system until you ensure that the zMail addon has been disabled in your system. We are working to ensure future patchers do not cause all mods to become outdated.

Server Status: Servers are online!

For those in Europe, the game is now selling at a hot discount of 20%! From December 10th to the 28th you can purchase and download Warhammer Online right from the official European WAR website.

Tomorrow, 12/11/08 Patch 1.1a will be released! All North American servers will be brought down at 7:00AM EST with Oceanic servers to follow at 9:00AM EST. We anticipate all servers to be online by 1:00PM EST.
