Hi guys!

I need some info about M11... The mission in Fei'Yin with the Archlich b*tch. I was seeking in Jeuno with my WHM and someone was /sh-ing for anyone who needs M11. I figured I got BRD to 50 yesterday so maybe it's a good time to take a break from the leveling circuit for a while.

Our party makeup was: BRD(me), RDM, BLM, DRK, PLD, SAM.

I thought we'd do alright. I was dead wrong... twice dead wrong. T.T

So that plan was to sleep everything while eveyone else concentrates on the Archlich B*tch. Went fine at start but when things started coming out of sleep it became more difficult for me. Of course, I drew all the hate after the little skellies woke up. I die, and everyone dies. We tried it twice and failed.

Anyways, I know one reason why didn't do too good was because our BLM decided to melee (he wanted to skill up apparently). Didn't even fire up 2hr (during the 2 tries we did).

So I'm asking for some suggestions on how this should be done. BLM didn't want to do -ga spells cos he said it's just a waste of MP.

Basically the only thing you would have to do is make sure the paladin tanks the archlith and takes a beating from all of his assistants, while you dump cures on him and nuke away. -ga spells may be a bad idea, because you wouldn't want those skeles on you at all.

Also it would be a good idea to keep your distance from its aoe drain attack.

Other than that, you guys look like you should have won, that was a good setup. :/

Get a MNK, let 'em 2hour. They'll be the tank.
Get 2 MNKs, let 'em 2hour, it's dead after a minute.

I keep 50 gear so if you need help and I'm not busy, I can probably help. Just don't forget about the MNKs when you're through, cause it sucks that people only want us for things like this =/

Hey just send to a tell to Siever or I when we're not busy and we can do it for you easy. BRD + MNK + WHM is a straight shot. Soul voice 2x minuet then you keep the little dudes sleeping and I keep siever alive wihle he proceeds to pound the archlich into oblivion.

I actually did this mission a few days ago with some very friendly people. Everyone was level 50, save for me, who was 49. PT consisted of DRG, RNG, MNK, WHM, BLM, PLD.

First off, I made sure the WHM cast Banish on the the Archlich every so often so my damage wasn't as shotty. The MNK 2hr'd, the RNG 2hr'd, and somehow the PLD still kept hate. oO Oddly though, -I- got the aggro from the little skelle buddies, but we killed the Archlich before they were able to kill me. :)

I'm not sure how the song for a bard, but I do know Sleepga (and all forms of the sleep spell) are darkness based, and will have little effect at all on the skeletons. My suggestion, is to just let the tank keep hate, and cure him constantly. Oh, and Holy Circle does help some, too.

One strategy that works very well is to have the RDM solo the assistants. With Stoneskin, Phalanx, Aquaveil and Blaze Spikes, the RDM should have no trouble handling them all. They have very few hitpoints, and the only thing that makes them difficult is that there are so many of them. RDM can cast Diaga on them as they approach to ensure that they are all on the RDM. Stoneskin/Phalanx means the RDM will take little damage, and Aquaveil will ensure that the RDM can recast Stoneskin as needed without being interrupted with a million mobs on him. Blaze Spikes, surprisingly, is enough damage to kill most of the mobs. The RDM just melees them one at a time, and lets Blaze Spikes and Stoneskin do most of the work.

Having a MNK to help kill the Archlich is a huge help, and will ensure that the battle is short enough that the RDM won't run into any serious problems. (The RDM is practically invincible while Stoneskin is up, but when it falls, if the RDM can't recast or runs low on MP, the RDM can fall fairly quickly).

Just did this w/ a Crew of Folks in the 60's last night for thr 50 Capped Fight. We took 1 Monk (me), Blm, Pld, Whm and I'd have to check screens for Full Roster, but all went Smooth, and I guess I was Tanking because of all the hate.

We Ran in, I went straigh to the Archmage, and 2-hr'd. Pretty sure we only Focused on the Mage, as I know I did. Waited for 300 TP, Hit Raging Fists and did 648 Dmg ^.^ Shortly after, Mage Dropped, and we were Golder on M11.

Basically, 2-hr Monk on the Fly on the Arch, Keep the Monk alive, along w/ Others Of course, and you should Kick His *** like butter on Popcorn. ;)

Thanks again to the Folks from Last night ^.^ Hit me up when we get Directions and a Time for M12.
