Hello my name is Johnytran and I'm looking for my friend Xele I don't know which server he is on can someone please tell me if you know him. Me and him use to play FFXI together if you can help me out it would be really nice thanks.
Go here and see if you recognize any of them. If you play on a Euro-server you might want to focus on the EU-realms listed. This list is updated once in a while so wait a day or two if you don't see him now.
Edit: Easiest approach would be to create a character on each server on a matching side (Alliance or Horde depending on what he is) and simply ask the person. You can send a mail or /whisper him.

Hey thanks for the advice I think i know which server he is on now. All i have to do is wait for him to log on ^_^.

Per server, there can be only one name per server but nothing stops you from having a same name on a different server.

How does that site get updated? It has the correct level for my warlock but is 8 levels behind on my hunter and I only made 2 levels this weekend so that's not the reason :-)

Great, there's 8 Makaros and 15 Zurox's. And I made up both of those names, too! Granted, Makaro is partially ripped off a character from Legend of Zelda- The Wind Waker, but still...
