PH "a beggar" typically pops up inside Crow's Tavern and will eventually wander out the main Qeynos gates. Respawn is 5 to 6 minutes.

I just killed the "a beggar" in the newbie grounds in North Qeynos so it looks like the cycle has been restored. He was walking along the path towards Qeynos Hills, just as Hendrys does when he spawns, Awesome! This is the stuff that makes me come back all those years.

I also just killed Faldor who walked by me about 10 minutes after I killed the a beggar. He had the Emerald Shard as loot.

I reported a correction to ZAM on the "a beggar" page with the factionhits.

Faldor gave me -50 QeynosCitizen, and the "a beggar'" is an unkempt druid apparently and gave:
Unkempt Druids: -5
Guards of Qeynos: 1
Jaggedpine Treefolk: 3
QRG Protected Animals: -2

Addition: When the beggar dies you read: "a beggar's corpse. Long live the green..."

Also, I killed him a second time soon after I killed Faldor, so it looks like this is a pretty fast cycle now, like 15 or 20 minutes.

Yep, beggar is an Unkempt Druid that should have a chance to drop Black Wood Chip, just he did back in the day.

Respawn is approximately 5-6 minutes, spawns in the small room with the brew barrel in Crow's Pub.

I am a bit sad that the original discussion about this guy is gone on ZAM? I also hope that the quests that he is part of are restored since they are probably working now. Why was the discussion not saved? I always figured a mob like this just would end up on the graveyard, including old discussion and all. Allakhazam has always been a fantastic nostalgic trip for me, I hope this is not some new way to handle obsolete content.

I just re-enabled the quests he is involved in. Let me know if they still work.

Thanks, I adjusted my earlier message btw, since I now believe that there was never much discussion on the Faldor page itself, but rather at the Quest-pages that he is part of. And those discussion are saved just fine so forget my remark earlier. I sent a correction to you about the faction hits and loot of both the beggar and Faldor. And thanks for keeping this site so up to date, I love it. :)

Has anyone seen this NPC on live servers in recent years?

My own hunts and hours have turned up nothing and all comments I see related to him and the quests he is invovled in (minus the one on this page from 2015) seem to indicate that his spawn cycle has been, and is still quite broken. I remember seeing the "a beggar" npc which is rumored to be his placeholder wandering around Qeynos back around 2001 but I haven't seen the beggar or Faldor in well over a decade of play.

I watched him walk out of Crows bar at exactly 60 minutes after i talked to the Hendrys guy in Dagnors. Ive heard 2 1/2 hours after talking to him as well.
