The god of sun.
Epithet: "The Brilliant".
Vol Anari is the god of the sun, light, fire, and purity. His symbol is a blazing sun. Vol Anari is the brother of Vol Tuniel, the maiden of the moon. When Vol Tuniel fell in battle against Kheolim during the God Wars, Vol Anari was overcome with grief and anger. Since that time Vol Anari and his followers have steadily become more zealous in their pursuit of purity. Some sects of Vol Anari worshipers have taken to ritual scarification in order to prove their faith to the god, while others have taken more extreme measures when dealing with evil doers, punishing any evil act with death by fire. In Qalia the people say prayers to Vol Anari to beg salvation from his burning rays, while on Kojan the people pray to the rising sun as a dawn of new possibilities. Vol Anari is directly opposed to the entire evil pantheon, though he has begun to turn his attention to the other good deities as well.

His symbol is a blazing sun.
Vol Anari teaches his followers that purity is of paramount importance. To them, he represents truth and the pure light of the sun. His most zealous followers perform excruciating purification rituals, often using fire to metaphorically burn away impurities.
It is not uncommon for them to seek out those they deem impure and force these rituals upon them or even kill them if they determine the impurities cannot be purged.

Vol Anari is closely related to Valus; however he is much more violent in the handling of those deemed unworthy or impure. He is resolute in his quest to purify Telon and has shown no limit to his tenacity. He is often unfair in his judgments, and tends to find something to warrant purification in anyone or anything. He has become increasingly maniacal and fanatical since the cataclysm.
Vol Anari is most commonly portrayed as a tall and muscular man with flowing blond hair. He wears brilliantly gleaming plate-mail and a white tabard emblazoned with his symbol. He wields a great fiery sword.
Vol Tuniel is the sister of Vol Anari. When Vol Tuniel fell in battle against Kheolim during the God Wars, Vol Anari was overcome with grief and anger. Vol Anari is directly opposed to the entire evil pantheon, though he has begun to turn his attention to the other good deities as well. Most of the other divine beings are wary of Vol Anari and fear that, in his maddened fanaticism, he will turn his efforts of purification to them. He and Valus stand in an uneasy alliance which is becoming increasingly strained as Valus becomes more withdrawn and Vol Anari more extreme and prone to violence.
Silver Crescent Lendwayen (high elf), Leth Nurae: "Vol Anari is the brother of the moon, the flame of purity that lights the way."
Crescent Guard Selanath (high elf), Leth Nurae: "Vol Anari is the brother of Vol Tuniel, and his fiery rage echoes in all of our hearts."
Acolyte Raster (Thestran), Tursh: "Do not worry about the burn on my arm. It will heal. It is with flame that Vol Anari gifts us with purity."
