  • Link: EQ Advanced Item Search
  • It's a Premium Only feature!
  • You can choose multiple expansions to include or exclude. You can select more than one with SHIFT for a range, or CTRL to select individual expansions.
  • 'Unattainable Items' means items that are no longer available in-game.
  • Clicking a header, such as 'Name' or 'Level', sorts by that column without reloading the page
  • The form hides itself on results, so it doesn't take up the entire screen when you just want to see the list! Just click on 'Show Form' to get it to show up again
  • 'Level' searches against required level. If the item you want doesn't have a required level defined leave this blank.
  • To filter items that have no information at all, you can omit Item Stubs (right-hand side of the search form).
  • Type: field in search uses the Item Type: field you see on the item pages.
  • Bards

Most of the options in this drop down are pretty much self explanatory

Effect

This drop down allows you to choose a particular effect that has been attached to items.
Firefox users, this option might be slow to pull up. This is a limitation of Firefox that I'll address when I can.

Found in zone

This drop down option allows you to pick a particular zone where this item is found.

This drop down option allows you to set food and drink items to the value of how long they last per item. You can use this in combination with the Type: drop down for food or drink.

Additional Bonus

This drop down option allows you to set what type of mod you want on your item(s).

Elemental Damage

This drop down option allows you to further refine your search on what type of detrimental damage mod resist type is attached to the item.

Bard Instrument: Stringed Instrument

Your results will be limited in using this search option. It is recommended to use the Type: drop down instead and leave Bard Instrument: -- None -- to find more items using that type of instrument.

Augmentation Type

This drop down option allows you to select what type of augmentation slot that is attached to your item(s).
For example, you are a Warrior and you want to see all items that have a augment slot of Type 21.

Choose the following options.

Class: Ranger
LoN Relation: Reward From

In the item information for one of the results, down near where the spell effects usually are you'll see LoN: This item is a reward from Legends of Norrath. The item should be attached to a quest entry on the right on what LoN set it comes from. If not, let us know.

Level

These two boxes for Min and Max allow you to search for a particular item that has a certain required level set. Keep in mind that this search feature doesn't always work due to some items don't have a required level set. If they don't have a required level to use, it requires us admins to set a level to attain in order for this option to work and there are many items where they don't have that set.
For example, you are a Druid and you are looking for a item that will fit into the Arm slot that has a required level range of 100 to 105. Set the following options.

Class: Druid
Slots: Arms
Level: Min: 100
Level: Max: 105

You'll see it chooses items that have a required level of 100 all the way up to 105.

If you would like to see items that have no required level at all, set both the minimum and maximum levels to 0.

Will add more to this as I get time.
