I did something silly the other day... While cleaning out my inventory while in the field, I accidentally tossed my duckbills out.
While I had read beforehand that this quest is repeatable, I went and found the items again in order to regain these, but the NPC (Narcheral) won't trade me. I even went to the Chateau to take to the Prince, but got the quest for the bell instead of this one. So, I was wondering how I can regain this quest, is there a way to "forget" past AF quests in order to redo them. That's just a rumor I heard.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

I cant remember the name of the NPC but it is an Elvaan inside the Spell shop in Lower Jeuno(to the left as you enter the shop), for the price of 100,000, I think it is, he will remove all your memory's of you artifact quest's. This will enable you to re-do the quest. Goodluck! ^^
yes you can redo them this way...but i believe that you will need to toss all other AF and redo them aswell.(seeing as you need to do the feet quest to active all other AF quests)i do not believe that you can pick and choose what AF quest you redo..all or nothing.

This quest is very easy. Yagudo Abbots are real push-overs even with only two or three level 50+ characters. Holy Water has a huge drop rate. Got mine from first Abbot past the door. The only thing you might have trouble with is finding Moccasans for sale on the Auction Houses.
Well these are great for a WHM for soloing. along with the druids rope and the Eremite's Wand or another one. The Spell interruption is 55% or higher. That really comes in handy with Aquaveil. So these are actually a great item for a WHM.
Solo is the only time I would wear these. I'll probably wear them when I fight Maat but until I can wear the Errant's pigaches I'll stick with something tht grants more max MP (elvaan RSE boots).
Yeah, I was about to write a post saying as Elvaan, wouldn't it be better to wear the Magna boots? gives more MP, the same AGI and even 2 INT
The only downside is defense and spell interruption given by AF, but in party situation these stats should be irrelevant to WHM.
Obviously there will be situations when the AF feet will be preferable, but I was just curious whether or not ppl wud frown upon me for wearing my Magna boots over these?
#REDACTED,
Posted:Jul 05 2004 at 4:14 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I think these boots are a real dissappointment. Mp +10 is the best stat IMHO. I don't see the point in the mp interruption - 20%. if everyone's doing their job right, u shouldnt have anything interrupting ur spells anyway
You'll be getting hit from time to time no matter how well you manage your hate. My evasion skill is capped for WHM ;P Mobs that spam AoE skills/spells are the main culprits for this, curaga/II hate adds up pretty fast. Things that petrify your tank tend to disrupt hate levels as well... and people seem afraid to ask for status cures :/
But even saying that, I still wear my RSE boots rather than these ;) Cure clogs if I can ever afford them, or errant's pigaches would also be preferable.
This is a no drop item, and you must have completed the first White Mage Artifact Quest.
To get this you have to goto San d'Oria Chateau d'Oraguille and go open the Prince Pieuje's room door.
You will then get a cutscene and ask to go fetch some "a canteen of Yagudo's holy water" and "a pair of moccasins" shoes which can only be player crafted.
You can get the Yagudo's Sacred Water off of "Yagudo Abbot" at Castle Oztroja. I found a abbot past the 4 lever door on second floor.
Once you got both items go give them to Narcheral in the San d'Oria Cathedral
