Check out Remy Zero. They broke up a few years ago, but if you like REM you'll like them, especially their second (Villa Elaine) and third (The Golden Hum) albums. |

Sorry for the Myspace link, but it's the quickest way to hear 3-4 full songs by any given band. All four they have up are kickass [:th |

I like Godsmack, however, song 1 thru whatever all sound a like, so you either like or you don't.
Metallica, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Aerosmith pre-1986 are all good choices too. Also, check out Lenny Kravitz. Anything by him is good. He's got to be one of the most talented musicians around. |

Remy Zero is AWESOME!!!! I have their mainstream album as well as their bootleg stuff. I have even managed to ctach them in concert 4 times. Great band!
I also particularly enjoy the song called Running up that Hill which I believe is Kate Bush/someone else. Someone here might have the link. |

So I started my hour long commute home last night, and I was flipping through the radio dial, trying to find a traffic report. I caught the tail end of one on the station I usually listen to, so I thought I'd listen to a different station until they did their report.
While I was waiting, they pla |

Napster is pretty good these days. It's not P2P, you pay $10 US dollars a month for a subscription, unlimited streaming, 99cents per track burned, and they have several million songs in their database. I'd strongly recommend it over any of it's p2p cousins.
However, there are certain labels/band |

Alison Krauss and Robert Plant are releasing a collaboration. I've only heard two songs from it, but the weird combination actually works. Not metal, but a lot of energy.

Finally. Too bad that we can't count on other such cases being resolved without a public outcry and the support of former presidents. It was ridiculous that he was ever in prison.
Edited to add: Now let's see some restitution.
