If you don't outdamage your pet, it gets half of the exp. for the kill. In a group pets don't take any exp. away from the group, so you don't have to worry about epts doing too much damage while gouping. However, while soloing make sure you take off a little over half of the MOB's health with your s |

Remember back to the days of lvl 1-8. I am new to EQ and have started with a Human Wiz which is at lvl 7 currently. I have read through all these posts and have gathered a lot of useful info for later levels. Would appreciate any help on getting to those higher lvls. IE lvl 20 would be a nice goal. |

By level 37 you could have already picked up two Sap of Pietys from Crypt of Dalnir and been putting some serious damage on your foes. Those babies have a bit of a delay(36), but the damage (13) they produce is pretty nice. I've been able to quad attack with them boom sticks and cause ove |

I think High-elfs are the best. At lv1 with int at 127 i maxed out all skills in one lv! it is much better to start with high int with high int for the race. and i don't use any int items! |

I agree. Wood elves are the best race for rangers in my honest opinion seconded by the half elves. But it is really not hte race but who you play the character as. My 25th lvl ranger on the Nameless can atest to that. Chose the race you think would be the most fun. |

I agree with the first Response Snare is a tool best used while on the move, usaully backwards facing your opponent and keeping good distance, enough to shoot arrows off.
Snare is also usefull if you need to recover. Snare your target and run depending on how close to zone. If you snare and th |
