| Bashing with a shield sucks the only way to go is using slam(which uses bash skill) for the large races and kick for the small ones. | ||||

| I have heard of cases where the bow was fletched with a skill of around 80. I did not succeed until I was about 150. I don't want to think of the number of tries I made... Anyone trying this quest for first time: make sure to get 2 servos and 2 spools of dwarven wire (requiring 4 tumpy tonics). | ||||

| Becuase I warrior cannot snare a runner and a druid who is OOM is probably going to lose. Healing (while 3rd rate) is good for cutting downtime and tracking is really great for the first 15 levels. My only regret is that the exp penalty gets shared with the rest of my group. | ||||

| I try to use root in the first part of a fight and snare at the end. The amount that snare slows a critter won't keep them off the cleric or enchanter in the group. But, root breaks too quickly to be relied on. | ||||

| Without asking others for money, you can kill wolves for pelts (this works in GFay for woodelves) and either learn tailoring or ask a tailor to make you some patchwork. Rusty weapons come off of orcs/gnolls/skeletons and can be sharpened. Bone chips can be sold to necros and bat wings to druids | ||||

| works on high end also, in trak teeth with a 40-50+group, a ranger can pull named mobs within 5 seconds of there pop, i have pissed off up to 3 other groups also trying to pull names and we get all and they get none and don't know way, just please don't pull doom ranger lvl 48 on povar | ||||

| rangers all so have many advantages there fast! can track can sneek,hide,cast spells, i may be a week warrior with crappy spells at lv 10 but good luck finding somthing in NK or other lare vast ariea with out a ranger or "druid" BOOO it all up to what u want i can kite things with my bow i got a T | ||||

| if your target is stationary run out to the edge of max range of you bolt spell and cast. recast right after the first one and you will hit the mob twice before it closes to melee range. take it from there. very simple but overlooked tactic. softens up the mob good before the fight really starts | ||||

| Ok heres another one for solo rangers when you fight go snare then dot then melee and once mob gets to 1/3 health root USE LOTS OF ARROWS.This does 2 things it brings up archery and most importantly mobs seem to hit harder when they are getting low on health. once root breaks snare and finish of. | ||||

| at 15 oasis is ok too on orc hiway, they drop a lot of bronze stuff and the gypsies buy them right down the path. Just try to avoid it when theres 78 in the zone, sheesh, you'd think "some" people would go to Velious =) | ||||
