Wisdom isn't important since the spells we use are so low manaed. Many will argue this but its true. Str doesn't help much except with carrying more stuff(if thats what you need go with Str). Agility does help. Raises AC which we Rangers desperately need. Good luck. |

You can train wepon skills an other way ...
Find a friendly pet caster some lvl above you.
/duel his pet
If its getting deadly your friend can call back the pet.
Not tried this on my own, but read it on several messageboards

Soloing can be good, but if you don't want to spend 40pp a hour to hunt I'd reccomend holding off on soloing again till you reach lvl 31. By the time you hit 31 your skills will be pretty high, you'll have your lvl 29 spells (this is really the key) and a decent amount of Manna. Take a trip on ove |

All class max out for Bandage at 100, except for the monk. The monk will increase in skill till 200, however once over 100 you are still limited to the 50% range, but the forulma for HP gain is Skill / 4 so at 200 skill you bandage for 50 hp.
This is till 51 |

Hey there ya big brutes! My name is Dallia..I'm a lvl 8 Gnome warrior and I love being so small and most important, smart :)
I'm quick, agile and altogether a race that is easily accepted by other races and groups.
Albeit, I'm not the primary tank if a bigger thug is avail, but I can hold my own.

I am a gnomish warrior of the 10th Season. My stat's are 85 str, 90 sta, 100 agi
I am curious if I am going to run into problems. I once had a druid with not enough mana. Is it possible to have a similar problem due to my limited strength? |

OK, first, there a few problems with your goal and the way you are testing to reach your goal. To find out the best warrior vs. an NPC and the best warrior vs. a PC is something totally different. VS. an NPC I lot of things will not matter, like being small and being able to hide and run around yo |

you can buy banded armor from a PC blacksmith. Sells for about 1pp per AC. this should serve you well till you get to lev 20. by then you should have started to switched out pieces of bronze armor which cost about 2pp per ac. you won't really be able to afford crafted armor until about 30+ levs. The |

Yeah, BB is good.. I've been hanging out there lately with my lvl 16 wood elf ranger. At my lvl, most of the gnolls con green, but I camp one of the elite spots, and get good exp. I also get pretty good loot there too. |

Strategy for fighting casting mobs |

Is there a workable strategy for fighting casting mobs with a ranger? I have had many blue casters wipe up the ground with me, and I hardly make a dent in them. The biggest drawback with low Strength is that you will be limited in what you can carry. You will have to be careful about the type of armour you wear so that you don't get too weighed down, but there are plenty of items around that are light weight. Look especially for the No Drop items, they will |

Try Lake of Ill Omen in Kunark. Theres great XP there and there are safe spots, like the Windmill in the SE part of the zone (which is where you will want to hunt anyway). |

Take their advice on places to fight and get bound in Greater Faydark. Binds only cost 5gp to 1plat and they save a LOT of time getting your corpse back.
You could also do Orcs in Lesser Faydark. There are plenty of Orc camps to choose from and there's rarely anyone there. |

And don't forget the XP BONUS that Halflings get (I believe it is +15%). Got my Halfling Warrior from 3 to 8 in a couple hours and from 8 to 15 in about another day. And we look sooooo cute those half naked female wood elves can't resist us ;) |

From 18th to 21st, you can indeed solo in EK.
EK is absolutely perfect for a level 18-21 ranger to solo. From 18-19, you can hunt gnoll reavers in the daytime, and from 20-22, you can hunt undead reavers at nighttime. Make sure to pull one at a time so you don't get yourself swarmed.

Gnomes are not good warriors in my opinion. I have a 44th warrior dwarf(which i wish was a troll or ogre now).
IMO gnomes are bad warriors because of their low STR and STA, which is needed(sta more than str). I used to say agi and sta before i found out agi doesnt work dodge or parry or anything. |

well, one thing is, fighting baton is monk only...
another thing, its not the weapon speed that kills your stamina, its the weight.. try using a.. hmm.... blackjack(about 1.5 weight i think)... THEN use a wurmslayer(15 weight)..
