I used to walk around with 195 str and 110 wis. Till lev 40 having lower AC did not hurt too much as mobs did not hit as hard. post 40 ac would be the way to go. give up str dex rings for hp ac ones, try to get some tolans armor. the extra demage that str gives u is nothing when mobs havink 2-3k hp |

Dear Warrior Friend,
Obviously you must be low lvl. because you can loot cloth and leather off of lvl 1 creatures such as gnolls and goblins. Bronze on the other hand is close to 30pp on the Nameless for the breastplate. While a crafted breastplate cost in the area of 1000pp. GET THE BRONZE... A |

At level 29, I started kiting everything in sight. I have found that if you run too far, and you are "Out of Range" that running more will not solve anything. Instead, do what i do, and click like a madman until your spell starts casting. This will save you a lot of time, and if you just keep run |

hey i like obvious, obvious things are the easiest to use =). actually another one is to snare and run away, snare lasts longer and is resisted less, plus it casts faster. One thing to point out to anyone reading this, while camo makes sure u wont get attacked by any OTHER mobs, the agroed mob will |

I have somethin to say bout this. Snaring is much much much more reliable than root. Root breaks fairly often, while snare lasts a garunteed 3 minutes. I am a level 27 ranger and have a lvl 32 druid that I play sometimes, and I KNOW that snare is better for open combat. In confined areas you definit |

I suggest you go with the STR items. 13 AC is not that much of a loss compared to the gain in STR. Also, since you have reached level 25, I also suggest you start saving for an Ebony Blade. Be careful with the blade however, it breaks snare when it casts the damage-root. A skilled ranger with a hot- |

I guess to find out just exactly when this is a helpful, you have to leave to the residential math wiz. That would be me. I worked this out... If you run at the same rate as your enemy naturally, then "vectoring" would make you go at 1.4 times your target's speed. Now, if you are snared, your moveme |

I have played alot of classes and I think you need to rethink what you are saying.
1. Mage nukes are only slightly less powerfull than wizzies
2. Pets in a group only take a max of 1% of the exp (yes I know what I am talking about check archmage answers on everquest.com). When solo the pet |

Yes, we can take out multiple mobs.
Look for posts on AE kiting, "Quad-kiting" ans "Multi-kiting".
You can read some here, but there is more info on the message boards at www.graffe.com and some more at EQcasters.

One more advantage for gnome warriors ... Bullsmasher
Does the thought of a 6/20 weapon, with minor stat increases, make you smile? How about the fact that it's possible to get it at around lvl 5? in your hometown?

I've heard from another player that it is possible to improve your bandage skill over 100, causing you to bandage up to 75% instead of 50%. And that if you improve the skill up to 200. You can bandage for 50hp. Is this true? If so, what Race or Class do I have to be to accoplish this? |

I have a level 18 ranger. I have played a warrior and enchanter as well. I quickly got bored with those. I have a blast with my woodelf ranger!! As for snaring then using your bow as you move backwards, it's a good tactic unless you are in a major Kill Stealing area like crushbone. If you use t |

I agree with most everything in the previous post. I do have one thing to add. I am amazed at how taunt is ignored. Keep it maxed, it really works!!! I have seen groups much higher than me attacking MOBS and doing lots of damage. Just for the heck of it I will attack and taunt and sure enough |

I'd recommend a CIMS and Silvery War Axe. You want faster weapons (axe) for the primary hand, so you get the damage bonus more often. The CIMS is excellent for off hand, and faster than most 1HBs (9/28).

Ahh, I believe the rangers specialty is soloing. What other class can beat a yellow con without being twinked, besides a druid of course? Soloing as a Ranger is easy! We have a God-like spell called snare. If you haven't learned what that is study it! We are blessed with talent in using the bow. Wit |

I say ditch the wisdom items since we have enough mana. And go for Agi or AC items. Thats just my opinion. Higher AC means longevity. |

I say the Wood elf for DEX and AGI. And druids are so easy to play they aren't challenging. As in all hybrids you have to find a strategy to play one. Perhaps you didn't find the SK or Paladins strategy. No of course rangers are not as good as fighters as warriors. Thats why we are called Hyrbids. H |
