1) Train 1 point in taunt. As stated above its the one skill you need to train in to use other wise it will not increase.
2)At level 6 you get the skill bash. What I didn't know at first but found out later is that if you train a point in bash and then use the large raise ability slam your ski |

Most rangers go spell happy as soon as they get them. This is understandable, and as long as they aren't forsaking their role in a group at the same time, the best way to go.
The problem is, most ragers concentrate on hyper-casting flamelick, barkskin, and minor heal.

I am a lvl 22 Troll Warrior, and we do NOT deal with the Fire resist at these lvls, we just die. At higher lvl's there are a LOT of very high AC items that give fire resist, Runed Lava Pendant for example, it is ac 5, which is just about the best you can get for neck gear (none plane/Kunark)And it e |

I found Kunark to be quite boutiful for the elusive ranger soloing area. From 30 to 39 you can take out burynai miners, gorging brutes, Hillock giants and non-caster goblins in Frontier Mountains using the afforementioned methods.

If you have a no drop item on you and want someone else to have it. Can you give consint to them to loot your corpse then get killed and they pick up your no drop item? Does this work? |

My hunting grounds were the perfect Faydwer 1-2 punch:
Sit at the zone line between Dagnor's cauldron and Unrest. Pick your poison. If you can pick up a good group in unrest, it's a good exp/good loot spot for all levels up to about 30.
If you CAN'T get a good group because it's too crowded/ |

A rooted mob will not attack the person highest on it's taunt/hate list, but the person closest to it. Rangers get many rooting spells. Use them if you are outdamaging the tank. |

Dex only helps procs and crits. It does not increase your chances to hit.
AGI only increases your AC (and supposedly helps you take less damage when hit, but this has yet o be proven to me) It does not increase your chances to hit.

Kunark mobs are a bit 'hyper-aggro'. Karnors and Old Sebilis both stick out in my mind for having some whacked out aggro's. Many times, I can pull a drovlarg guardian, beat it down to 1/4 health and the druid will get aggro'd when he snares. He hasn't casted once the entire fight, but that one sn |
