| Erudite is indeed a good choice. With any race a Wiz will still need to group at early levels. It can be frustrating in the early levels, race does not change that. I have a Erudite Wiz at lv 6 currently in Everfrost peaks. He has died more than any of my other characters in their early careers. | ||||

| I KNOW that bl pets are a LOT weaker than mage pets. at lvl 10 bl pets MIGHT b stroger b/c it's not a spell, but more like a skill, but the pet gets stronger every lvl, so even w/ a 2 lvl advantage, the mage would probaly still win in an all pet duel. | ||||

| I don't know the price range on your server, but I highly recommend if you can afford it, to get a Glowing black sword. 9/22 +20 dex offhand or primary 1hs. | I never count on procs myself, but having said that my ranger procs at least 5 times a fight when solo, either with his Call of Sky or his Dragon Horn and if using Swarmcaller Tagar's Insects about once a fight.
