Hail, fellow rangers!
I was wondering where it would be safe for a lv
4-8 ranger to hunt...and is bow really a weapon I need to master? all I have heard about bows are how crappy they are, but I would think it is quite effective while kiting...?
Thx |

Heya fellow ranger, first of all, stick around the newbie area till you hit lvl 5 or so, then go out to orc hill and team up with some fellow orc hunters...orc hill may be a bit of a challenge for you at lvl 5 or 6 so you may want to wait a bit...definitely go when you get your spells at lvl 9...whe |

Ok, now ya got some choices, I would head to high hold pass myself and do orcs. But you could go to lake rathe and do aviaks, or head to OT hunt the mudpit, or go to the tried and true Lake of ILL Omen and get in groups around the Mill. Personally the Omen thing gets a bit old and I enjoyed orcs c |

Hehehe, Play the character and class you enjoy is the bottom line. As for starting stats, they really dont mean a hell of a lot cuz later in your life you will be getting gear that boost everything. I would definitely throw a at least 10pts into Wisdom cuz that determines how much mana ya have that |

Your fine being a high elf wizard, those two races get slightly more intelligence than high elf but eventually gear will equalize that. As for getting your int to 200+ yes its possible to get even without high lvl raiding. More than likely you will meet friends or be invited to join a guild (unless |

Which race makes the "best" ranger, and why?Personally I was thinking of making a wood elf(highest agi and wis, decent dex, hide, forage at an earlier lv, access to both small and medium armor and their good looks), but I'm not sure(their newbee area really stinks, they are the weakest ranger race i |

In your late mid to late 20's you can start your Ivy etched armor quests from Kithicor. Unless you have a guild then you can probably get them to help you obtain the items sooner. as for Jewelry offhand go for jagged bands till you can afford 6ac/65hps rings. For your ears go for either 2 cougar cla |

There are many weapons out there that are good for Ranger. Duel Weilding YAKS are by the far the best that I have found. I have tried Wurmslayer and Bezerker but, when you scroll back and look at the damage, delay, and misses. Yaks speed when out in a long fight. I have tried many combo's but for a |

Just to add to this. Green mobs out front. blues, yellows, reds in a fort. Kill the greens? No, Harmony them, go pull the blue on out of 5 other yellows. Opps have an add snare/root, kite! As a 39 Ranger with 3dmg/150 range arrows and a Trueshot I've done 89dmg max. My avg is 33dmg with my skill |

Take the wood elf!!!
Reasons why:
1) high stats
2) can wear both small and medium armor
3) infravision
4) starts with hide and forage
5) good lookin' females |

Hi, level 12 Ranger..
I have gotten with some good groups latly, and as a result I have gotten my share of really good armour from the beasties we kill. Bad thing is, everybody can wear it, except humans. I'm human by the way. Is there hope for me to one day not have to run around in my pajamas ? |
