Leather might be a decent upgrade, at least you won't look naked, can turn in CB belts to get it for free. Once you get about level 15 or so you could probably head to RunnyEye and get some black alloy armor, along with a black alloy longsword (VERY nice ranger 1hs, used it until about level 25 myse |

Your weapons are fine until about 30, for now focus on armor. Mix pieces of ivy etched and rygorr armor... rygorr is slightly better and much more common. You may also prefer dark mail gauntlets, 10ac 5 dex 50 mana. The mana will help significantly, and the dex won't hurt either. The 2ac you lose is |

Didn't have much of a problem with that, but it's certainly worth considering. I wouldn't sacrifice many other stats for mr there in that situation but it would certainly be a good idea to ask a class that has resist magic to cast it on you and recommend that everyone else on the raid has it as well |

Focus on getting full leather/rawhide and then banded. For a weapon, it doesn't matter all too much at your level but try to get a velium battle axe (8/28 magic) or mino axe (8/38) or possibly fine steel/regular velium weapons. These used to sell fairly often cheaply in newbie zones like gfay, but n |

Wouldn't it be awkward and cumbersome to post loot decisions on message boards instead of in-game? This will also only work with dropable stuff because no drop items must be looted before the corpse rots or they will poof. It is also difficult to force people to look at the boards, that rule will be |

That's most likely fake. Even the most uber guild would never give 15/21 40 percent haste with an attack buff primary/secondary epic stat weapons to npcs. Back then there really wasn't anything that I know of that was better and even if there was most rangers would put some sentimental value on a bl |

After reading the rest of that page there is one more reason why this is fake. Afterlife first managed to kill Vulak'aer in early July, and he probably has a long respawn time (a week perhaps?) He is a very tough dragon and rarely drops lots of nice class specific ultra-uber goodies. This post about |

Actually some pieces of the Ivy is better than Ry'gorr. Personally I have sold and given away many a Ry'gorr battlemail in favor of my Ivy tunic, which I wore until lvl 52. The extra 7 STR is not worth the loss of AC, HPs and WIS than the Ivy gives you.
I would never upgrade my chestpiece to Ry'go |

It'll take you some time to get to lvl 60. I can't even remember how many days of playing time I've put it, but currently at lvl 53. I've been playing now for over 2 years, but I do alot of questing as well. Also have a 51 druid, 46 Mage, a 33 Cleric and a 27 monk. Also fooled around with a couple m |

The ivy is good but can be hard to quest for on your own. If you have a guild or a good group of friends you can start with some of the easier ivy, the bracers for instance. The quest info here at Alli's is pretty good for the ivy quests.
If not ivy, Rygorr is pretty much the same. ( still you |

Some good advice there, Phoenex. I'd been saving the DRT ever since I stopped wearing it after upgrading to Ivy. Like I said, I've been neglecting my resist gear pretty badly, so I'm hoping to put some awareness out there so others don't make my mistakes.
