I'm not trying to start a flame war, but what you're saying simply doesn't make any sense, period.
"The point I'm driving at is that it depends, not entirely on your equip, but on your play style. If you know how to pet kite and chain summon, a mage can solo damn near anything. I've heard ru |

Well this is my listing at lvl 51 it varies a little on what exactly I am doing that day ie solo, raiding, grouping.
Here's my most common configuration of hotkeys
#1 Biggest nuke (most of the time lava bolt)
#2 alt nuke (shock of swords)
#3 pet buff (burnout III)
#4 dmg shield (lava shield)

Personally I would just upgrade my weapons for now, as you shouldn't really need extra ac for fear kiting and upgrade your armour later.
Weapons - well seeing as though fear kiting is a great opportunity to increase those neglected weapon skills I would go for a selection and use them all til all |

Wow, I guess I don't read this forum enough. First time I heard of chain casting pets. Seems like a viable strategy, but I'm wondering if it's an accepted practice among everyone? Or is this generally frowned upon.

I wonder just what is ment by "maximum damage output"? Sounds like it has something to do with the maximum amount of damage you could do over some time periord. However the formula doesn't include the weapons delay. And therefor can not be used to calculate output or any other damage ov |

Wavecrasher's proc is something you'll want to go off more than once- you'll get extra taunt every time it pops. I'd take it over a 10/18 weapon for sure, especially if you have halfway decent dex. Good luck finding one for sale though, and expect to pay 30kish on MT.

It's suppose to determine how hard you can potentially hit per swing with a weapon according to your strength, skill and damage bonus. That's it and shouldn't be used as a guid for what weapon is better than an another because as you said, it doesn't include delay which gives a ratio and is an ultim |

I would go with the Lupine Dagger till it procs in outdoor zones, then Jagged Blade of Mourning Primary and Centi LS offhand at your level. Greater wolf form gives a great attack bonus, better attack=more hits=more damage.
Jagged Blade of Mourning 1.923 Ratio
Centi Longsword 1.928 Ratio

Looks like if you bought it and scribed (even castable) it before the patch done on the 9th/10th, you were in luck. It is now bugged, and can't be scribed by Rangers until they fix the bug. |

I have a question for the forum that relates to a Mage soloing multiple mobs.
The problem that I run into no matter what pet I use is when the pet is fighting two or more mobs and one decides to aggro on me.
I try using the /pet back off command, but by the time the pet decides to listen to |

It may be gamma correction (in Options in-game).
It could also be your DirectX driver. I know that when I wiped my system and reinstalled everything (Everquest included), when I went into the game everything was INCREDIBLY dark and uncorrectably so.
I downloaded the newest version of DirectX |

I would suggest hunting just outside the cave entrance of Surfall glade. You will be looking for bats, rats and skellies mainly. Since you don't lose any exp or have to do any Corpse Runs(CR) till lvl 10 don't worry if you health gets low just attack attack attack. Once you hit lvl 6 or so head over |

I am not sure about solo, for PP at 43rd but I found that partnering at rockhoppers in DSP is pretty good money cuz you can sell rockhopper flawless hides that drop about 1 out of every 10 times. The only problem is that sometimes you get adds but it can fun as hell ping ponging rockhoppers with fea |
