Keep in mind that ogres and trolls are highly desired at high levels cus they have the ability to bash while duel-weilding. This is good cus it disrupts caster-fire and stuns a mob if it tries to run away (like in a dungeon).
Oh and trolls kick ass!

If you have the Luclin Expansion and are level 51, you can begin using the Alternative Advancement system. Basically, you put either some or all of your XP into the AA pool instead of your regular Level pool. It takes as much XP to get one point of AA as it does to get a level up (51+). You then |

I made a Halfling Ranger to use as a Bank character for my WE Ranger main. I couldn't bear to part with some of my ranger gear that I no longer use, so I loaded my Ivy Tunic and some other stuff on him. I have to say, I am impressed with the halfling's stats as a ranger. One of my biggest problem |

I'm not sure, but I hear everyone talking about the zone Lake of III Omen in Kunark, that is a very good zone for higher lvl players, with good exp and good loot.
Good luck! |

I completely agree with keeping all your weapon skills maxed. But its much easier said than done. As a new player, I was lucky to get a single rusty weapon off a mob, much less one for each weapon skill. Add to this the fact that characters go up really fast at lower levels, at least compared wit |

To answer your question, At high lvl Str doesn't matter that much because most warriors can get to the 255 cap with a buff or two. How good your weapons are is much more a factor at upper lvls, than Str.
If your intent is to be the main tank then you will want evey advantage you can get. Theref |

My only suggestion for raising skills (especially if you've neglected some as I have) is to head to Stonebrunt, and fear kite away with your "practice" weapon". The xp will be slow, but be patient, and you'll see improvement as you get skill ups. |

Greetings!
With my friends I plan to start a group of 4 members on FV server. We decided that we would have a chanter, a cleric, a ranger and a primary tank. In your opinion who would be better for the main tank: a Warrior or a Monk? And of course, tell me WHY this one, or that one. ;) |

a Tanking monk is a dead monk.
Monks are much better damage dealers but they're not meant for a beating. That's why they have feign death. A Ranger could tank better and yet they don't make good tanks either. Poor treehuggers are always be poked fun at for that too.

warriors will certainly make the easier tank. having said that, its not true that monks cant tank, provided they are equipped properly. i was a 52 ogre warrior in KC when i met a monk of about the same level and he had 1000ac (50 more than me) and just 200 hp less and he could tank it as good as any |

id take the cobalt gaunts with sash, u get hastple plus higher ac thant the sch and tbb. hand slot always has more ac than waist slot. u should get the tbb as well if u have the cash, when u are soloing and need the ac or u have a haster then dump the sotb and put on the tbb.

There are a couple of different ways to skill up weapons. One is to find a weapon with miserable damage, so that is takes more swings to kill the mob (fearkiting a must). The other is to get one with the lowest delay you can find, sgain, for more swings. The best is to find a low damage/fast weap |

Why a ranger at all?
The thing your little group is missing is transportation! You need a damage dealer so why not make number 4 a Wizard?
Only thing you would be missing is SOW but that can usually be begged/purchased when needed. Hmm on second thought you are also missing tracking?? no |

heh, that's some real high end equipment he must have had. If a monk on average had more AC than warriors and almost as much HP (Considering a diffence of 200hp in your 50's is the difference between taking 2 or 3 hits) I'd say monks are pretty inbalanced.
That's one kickass monk, and for obviou |
