| Everybody misses a lot, bud- you'll just have to get used to it, because there's nothing you can do except keep all your skills maxed. | As a Rogue I find i pull alot of taunt even off the tanks but only from tanks that use 2handed weapons. If there in a group with other damage dealers then why go with the 2handed weapons and not with the one weapon for each hand and do dmg faster and use youre taunt. | ||||

| That's a decent combo. If anything, try trading your icetooth for an Icepaw War Claw (9/24 1hs). The extra speed will help you keep taunt probably for another dozen levels or so. Teriuk / Terriuk / Tookus Warrior / Warrior / Druid Morell-Thule | ||||

| Oh, yes. Definitely. You get regen, which is very nice, especially if you like to solo. You get infravision. You're not as big as an ogre, but you can still bash (slam) to stun mobs and interrupt spellcasting without a shield- I can't stress the importance of that enough. You get a very nice newbie | ||||

| I believe the FBSS and the wraps have the same haste- every source I've ever heard says so. I'd go for the FBSS, because Cobalt Gaunts can be had for as little as 2k sometimes, and they have 25ac. | Try a /who wizard all. Find a Wizzie about level 45-50. Send them a tell and ask if they might have those runes. I had a Rune Mule character. The entire bank was filled with over 400 Runes. | If you are going to start a tank, dont think about crits. Crits are the icing on a cake, but warriors have to accept that they are not going to outdamage monks or rogues. So concentrate on str and ac. Get you str up to 200 and always look to max ac. As long as your stamina is over 100, then its ok. | ||||

| Just word of advice you should dual your wurmy and green jade broadsword in your offhand you gain no advantage having the lammy in the offhand and are losing out on damage that you could be getting with the higher damage GJB. | ||||

| I think there really is two lifes for a tank. Pre-40 and Post-40. Post-40 you may or may not be the big damage dealer for the group. You are just not going to out damage a rogue or a monk. | thanks for the advice. unfortunately, i sold my wurmy to a vendor ( so now i am "stuck" with the lammy, gjb combo. what would you say about dualing lammy's? that and is it worth saving up for silver chitin handwraps to use? | ||||

| I would have to say this is a good post for new rangers. I disagree with the 2 HS though. Really no reason to waste money or time on 2 HS since we have double attack and duel wield at later levels. Get a nice 1 HS weapon and go to town. I never used 2 HS and now that I am level 51 I am loving the ab | ||||

| at 52 i decided to stop lvling and get alt xp. anyway i got 6 points and now im back to lvling. i put my first 3 points into run speed which i would advise everone to do. it makes you run close to SOW speed but without a SOW. very helpfull in places where you cant sow like velks, chardok and many ma | ||||

| i can begin to tell you how much DISTANCE from a mob affects agro. Ill give a example. ever cast snare at a mob in melee? its pretty much gaurunteed to get you agro. alot of people say wait till a mob is almost dead before you cast snare but i say not true at all <you need to protect your healer | ||||

| Actually your better off with the Lammy in primary and GJB in your offhand. A second Lammy will only lower your damage output. | I killed HG's and Griffons in NK and EK on occasion to break up the repetition of DL at 40-45. As well solo Drakkel Dire wolves in GD on occassion. At 46-50 I solo'd off and on in EW doing wooly Rhinos and Mammoths. I also like BW at 49-51 by the Chardok for kiting Sarnaks. | ||||

| I disagree Rauvin, I use 2hs when in groups with Paladins or a warrior with less than adequate (either through weak weapon choices or is a pl twink with no clue) taunt skill as MA. My damage output is way to high with dual wield for them to keep agro, either that or I'm Jolting over and over. I pref | ||||

| There are plenty of great 2hs weapons for rangers. Right now I've got a Swarmcaller. The proc of Targar's Insects (40% slow) is a great help in a group without a slower, and makes it easier to solo alot of mobs. There are great weapons of all types for rangers, even 2hb.
