OOH! Four and five strikes per round! What are Lammys? What is CoF? Those sound like uberweapons.
I suppose now that my Double Attack is sufficiently advanced to where it happens every round, I can start practicing Dual Wield and still be assured that I will do serious damage until the skil |

Actually the most expensive trades are still jewel crafting and alchemy. Fletching is relatively a cheap trade trade skill. |

Ok there seems to be a problem with the duel wield and the double attack thing. Duel wield is the ability to use a weapon in each hand. Now in the old days your secondary followed the delay of your primary, thats lost. Nowadays with just duel wield (lvl 13) you can do 2 hits per round and a bash |

It's Elanore of the nameless with more advice for young rangers (which hopefully the veterans will critique)
I recently returned from Shadeweaver's thicket. First words of advice: Don't go there. As a halfnaked lvl 5 rangerling it took 2 lvl 42+ players to get us through Pauldil |

Even the most expensive items for jewel crafting and alchemy drop off of mobs. Sure you can buy them for a couple hundred plat, but you CAN get them for free by killing mobs.

If your determined to raise your skill making bows till trivial, then do it smart and get enchanter buy your bow staves. I save about 17pp per attempt having enchanter guildy buy my oak staves, cams and planing tools. I can recoup most of my money selling em back to the merchant or players.

Of course, AFTER I ask a question, I did a little research...

There are quite a few Luclin flteching items that require drops from MoBs. The Acrylia arrows don't trivial out until after 250...and they yeild 10 arrows per. The downside is that |

You said that dual weild is one of our best skills, and should never be left lower in skill than it could be.

I agree with what you said except for the stuff about missing. Yes a certain percent of your swings will be misses. By the same logic the more you swing the more you will miss. A fast weapon will miss, (and hit) more often than a slow weapon. However this does not relate to which weapon does the |

Well a ranger will almost always dual wield, I kinda like seeing the big 110-125 hits with my Swarmcaller. Hehe I know what you mean though in most fights I tend to use my dual wield and depending on how good the tank is I pull out the ole rev whip and go to town. Nothing beats proc about 5-6 times |

Damage bonus is a function of your lvl (and the weapon's delay for two hand weapons). For one hand weapon your primary hand bonus will be 1 and it will go up one every 3 lvl after that.
You can half the damage bonus and add it to the damage of the weapon and divide that sum into the delay of the |

I do however keep my Guardian Sword and SSOY handy for use aginst any casting mobs. With Cal |
