| Mage are highly offensive lacking any real ability to heal. AOE spell Rain of Blades at 30 is doing 3 phases of 97 points of damage and accompanied with Shock of blades during AOE of 168 Points. | Take set #1 you end up with more AC than your second choice. You may not be a warrior but AC is king in my book. You can pick up decent piercers and blunts for less than 50pp each and a 2hs for about 100pp if you want to do some shopping in EC tunnel or GFay market. | ||||

| Rain spells are resisted right and left, and are a BIG taunt if they all hit. Also pets can kep it from hitting the maximum number of times. Plus it can aggro other mobs you DON'T want to fight. I put up my rain spells at level 12 when I realized how useless they are | ||||

| Actually I found that the key for opening and reading any book is that I *already* have to be seated and looking at my spell book before I right-click on the book I want to read. | I agree with some of what you are saying. However I disagree with your comments on the effectivens, and the agro holdability of the Wurmy. "The wurmy suck ass after lvl 40" Actualy at lvl 40 the damage done by the Lam or mace and the wurmy is almost identical. The lvl at witch any 9/19 weapon | ||||

| I am lvl 7 darf elf wiz. I am a lil bit confused as to what specific skills I should practice in order to do as much dmg as possible. | Evocation is your skill for your DD spells. But over the course of gaining levels you will be able to max out evocation and channeling pretty quickly.
