OK i am trying to decide between makeing a Ranger, Bard, or Rogue, as far as what i am looking for i want a character than can use Peircing weps and 1hs weps, Rangers seem to get the best 1hs (lamentation, Ssoy, Wurmslayer, GJBS) and some decent peirciers which i will stop useing when i get a pair o |

IMHO with no matter what race you choose when choosing to be a warrior put all the points you can into STA. There are sooo many STR twinks out there that you could make up for the loos with one or two items. The points you put into STA will benfit much more than STR anyway. More HP or carrying mor |

Thank you very much for the information. I won't have any help, more's the pity. A co-worker of mine convinced me to get the game after he decided to stop playing. So it's all me. As for begging....I don't believe that I could make myself do that...even in character. That's why I posted. I wanted to |

To answer your most recent question, don't worry about grouping until you get a few levels under your belt. Get to know the combat system, and your character's strengths and weaknesses. You'll get spells at 9th level, until then, you, like everyone else, just have to walk up to MoBs and start smacki |

Once again, I've got to go with Cannis, go to Highpass. LOIO is too crowded, and got the nickname Lake of Ill Manners for a reason. The exp bonus that used to be there is gone now, so the only reason to go there would be to see how NOT to group. |

If you make a Woodie, raise Str and Sta.
If you make a Halfie, raise Wis and Sta.
I really enjoyed the Newbie areas for half elves, and hate the one for Woodies, but in the end, it's the character youd'd enjoy that should be the decision-maker. |

/agree Lake of Ill Manners, easy to wander into killer mobs and is quite large - long way to zone if you want to bail out, but its OK really and definately worth a visit to learn how not to group ubt i think im going back to highpass myself. Or soloing in North Karana's |

Greetings all,
I just started an Erudite Wizard a few days ago and found out that the class was what I had been looking for: a challenge. Since Toxullia Forest proved to be a bit tough on the average newbie, I went to Qeynos and fought around the gates until 5, my current level, gaining faction a |

I have a wood elf ranger so I am biased towards them. But in any case with 200pp you should be able to buy a full set of banded for 1pp per AC I think that comes to around 90pp or pretty close. Though its not magic you can get by with it for quite a while. You may want to not buy the banded boots an |

Create a wood elf. I personally put points into agility and a couple into strength. The newbie area is not bad. Check out all the different quests; "Bladed Weapons", "Pixie Dust", etc. Look around. Save bone chips. Turn them in in Kaladim. Hunt the crossroads in Butcherblock. Hit Crushbone f |

You are correct when you refer to Warriors, but I am not sure on the Monks. The only problem that you will find with STA drained (as long as it is over 100) is that you will not be able to jump. Besides that, it won't efect your swing or anything else. I have 100+ STA and swing a Berserker's Axe |

You can stand behind him (make sure that your behind him) and whack away for hours he shouldn't turn |

I don't think its such a strange combo, I tend to partner with SK's and Necros, mainly cuz they can't usually find groups, but also because I know that exp rocks with those guys. When things go wrong which they seldom do, they just FD and I take em to the zone.

I have some friends that solo in CS but you have to compete with those quading kiting no sharing druids and wizards sometimes. Some of my friends also do Burning Woods. I was also thinking emerald jungle might be good too but not sure if that is good for your level or not. Good luck. |

Dire wolves??? Great idea.
If you come from the Temple of Frozen Shadow island in Iceclad Ocean onto the main island (the one with the bridge and dragon portal on it) and keep to the left hand side of the main island you'll reach an series of small(ish) ice islands just off the coast of the main |

Well, you have many choices to hunt later, you can do aviaks in Lake Rathe, you can go to Everfrost and do mammoths, you could go to Overthere and do the mudpit (finding a group might be tough though). Or you could head to Lake of Ill Omen, you could do pickclaw gobs in HHP, or ya could do Aviaks in |

That will give you a list of the many items available you can see stats what zones the drop it |
