| When you look at us, you see what is bad about us. Our melee is just as good as yours, and I always ask the Warriors in my group how much HP they have. Now, (lvl 31) they have around 100 more HP then us. Wow. In OT thats like, 2 high hits from a mob. And, this so far isnt even looking at our spells. | ||||

| It felt i needed to say something. I will point out the following first. 1. My main is not a Ranger it is a Paladin. (Some ppl say the same stuff about them but thats a different story.) 2. | Yes, warriors are the best tanks as they can take the most damage (better HP and AC). And no, they cannot deal the most damage, in the meelee section I believe both monks and rouges outdamage warriors. | ||||

| I found a formula re damage done and both str and weapon skill apply damage done = base weapon damage x ((str+weapon skill)/100) +damage bonus for level (if you get one) so with my lagseax of the wolves (base damage 19) 2hs 130 and str 117 i do 19 x ((130+117)/100) = 19 x 2.47= 46 (rounding | ||||

| Dwarf is the best. They lvl fairly quick, they can see well at night (unlike a vision impaired human), and at lvl 13 they dual-weild...devastating power (plus it looks cool). | ||||

| South Karana is a great place for you. You can kill aviaks, gnolls, the hermit, and treants. Lake of Ill Omen is another cool (if crowded) place. Lake Rathe is also still good at your level - kill the aviak guards. Also in OOT you can go after gargoyles which are still blue cons to you and | ||||

| Save them. Just keep practising forrage whenever the button re-sets and it will eventually go up, yes it is slow to ebggin with but things improove.
