I heard lots of stuff about spells, but what about a weapon. My char started with a piercing weapon, so I trained in that. I think I have 1HB and 2HB availabe to train in. is there one I should choose over the other for any reason? |

Mor than two years ago I started my very first character; a ranger. I knew nothing about the class at the time, I think I just liked the name. But when I started playing, I immediately fell in love with it- Immediately after I found my way off of Kelethin, that is. I thought it was so cool that I |

Well, ofcourse it depends in what area are you? If youre Feydwer, Id say CB or Steamfont. Well, yeah, CB is a hell on earth, but Steamfont is fine. Watch out for trains in CB. And dont pull too far, or youll pull the whole crushbone with you. Well, steamfont, I dont really know, skels and minos, min |

Actually any wpn you give a pet WILL proc... ask any mage that can summon Sword of Runes. During my Splitpaw days I used to give my pets the Gnoll Hide Lariats and Daggers of Dropping that the group would get. I have also noticed that air pets tend to proc more often than other pets but fire pet i |

Soloing Hill Giants should work for you well at that lvl. They will be starting to green out on you a little but still enough blue in there to make xp worth while and you cant beat the cash.
If you are feeling frisky you could also give seafuries in OOT a try but you might need to chain cast a n |

Heck, stay in oasis till 16 or so. At that point I would (and did) go to Highpass for Gnolls and Orcs. This served me later in my smithing as my faction was nice and high for good prices. From highpass you can go into Highkeep Dungeon for Pickclaws *Warning* They have revamped the Highkeep dungeon s |

Hey Tebyn, after reading some of your posts on Mages, allow me to kindly ask you to stick to Druids cause you're not as well informed on Mages.
I give Velium weapons to my pets all the time in leiu of summoned because they proc at least once per fight. An extra 12 pts in a fight can really help |

I am a lvl 21 half elf ranger that hunts up in everfrost.(I used to hunt in hph and befallen but it took so long to get in a group.) But lately it seems like nobody wants a ranger in there group. Is rangers really a bad class? And where is the best place for a 21 ranger to solo?

Everfrost is not the best place for a 21 Ranger. By the time you reach 25 or so, you will be in demand in Everfrost for tracking Wooly Mammaths in a group. This is good exp. and loot. Also, your harmony spell will be needed for the Icy Orcs. As you approach level 30, you can easily solo the momas wi |

OK, thought I would at least post something of value (I hope).
I've heard all the comments on how "Rangers are the worst class", how we don't get the HP to go toe-to-toe with the mobs like Warriors do, we don't get feign death like the monks, do, etc. and so forth. Well, 51 levels later, nearl |

ok Gnomes are the best for Warrior cause of there HIGH Agi / dex. Higher agi = higher ac. Higher dex = more that weapons proc, learn skill faster. And we look like Ninjas. *makes a ninja pose* |

Actually, Ivy Etched Armor has better AC than RyGorr (Ivy BP has 19, RyGorr is 18), thus a full suit of Ivy will have more AC than a full suit of RyGorr. However, the stats are greater for RyGorr. You're going to have to make that same decision again for Kael vs. Skyshrine armor. Kael is best armo |

I'm a 22 level ranger listed earlier using dual wielded veluim axes. My problem is everyone else semms to be doing critical hits and major damage with there weapons. I havent had a critical hit with my axes yet. This may be because they need to proc and im not at that level. Anyway, the axes are 8dn |

City of Mist is a decent alternative at 44 if you want something different than OT/DL. Exp starts to slow down around 47 or 48, but then you can go to KC. |
