| Well, considering 202 seems to be the mark that fletching can't get over, and smithing goes over 270...and you'll, in the long run, make more money smithing, I'd say smithing.... | Um, even IF you have your weapon skills maxed, you won't be able to do diddly squat if your pet dies and you are OOM. Casters don't melee once they get into the 20's. Plain and simple. It is just a waste of time. If you are oom, then you should be meditating. Former Addict of Everquest | ||||

| hi, i had the same problem. In the caster's guild there are 2 side rooms that a door opens into. There is a wizard one, and a mage one. | From the sound of your post you are not exactly interested in which to exceed 200 with, but which to spend time and money on. I say both. Use smithing to make steel shafts that increase you skill in smithing to the point where you can start thinking about banded, then use the shafts to increase flet | ||||
