| It sounds as if your arena file is corrupted, find the file in your eq directory and delete it (after making a backup to be safe, just call it something else) Then when you start up eq the patch program will download the arena file again. This problem happened to me and after the above it was fixed. | ||||

| They are random as far as I know. A ranger can only crit hit with a bow. You will not start crit hitting until lvl 12 I think. I am currently lvl 28 and my critical hit is from 44-49 points using a 1dmg arrow and the raincaller bow. Rangers can't crit hit with anything other than a bow. | ||||

| Critical hits are also tied to your dexterity just as your proc rate is, if you have a weapon that procs. The higher your dexterity, the more often you'll get Critical Hits and procs. But mpete is right, the only weapon a ranger can crit with is the bow. | ||||
