Im very disappointed with my mage... I've played him to lvl 19, I use water pet, buff him with burnout, fire sheild, even melee to keep it alive and all that crap. I even have some realy nice INT items given to me by friends and people ive helped here & there. Yet I constantly get my ass handed to m |

I found magic boots very hard to come by for quite some time. I was fortuneate to get some of the rusty spiked shoulders in Blackburrow early on in my life, so at least I could bash magic only mobs. For footwear, I too was going after the blackened iron. I got some from a wandering enchanter whom |

Have never had any problems soloing a mage. It does take practice however. If the MOB is not real low on hit points and your pet dies chances are you die unless you have practiced conjuring another pet while in a fight. You don't have the evac means that some other classes have.

Thanks for the reply, I might have to wait. I did find some magic banded boots for all you people that can wear medium sized boots. Unfortunately, I'm a gnome and can only wear small. I saw this on a merchant in East Freeport at the armorer (Ithkor Armor or whatever it's called). I saw on www.ca |

There is a char who sells Antonian long swords in Q. 25pp dam8 ~ del 27. Though these swrds are not magical, they are good. I have been using one from lvl 14 to present(16), and do an average dam of 15 per hit. The lower del is a nice bonus. |

People will also buy Greater Lightstones for anywhere from 5-10pp, but if you think you can survive North Karana then go for it. If you want some lightstones, go to Wisp Isle, the first stop off the boat to Erudin. They are higher level here and there are more, but it's usually pretty camped. |

Go for a Combine Long Sword. You can buy from the North Karana Gypsies for 60pp I think, 6 28 magic. Or you can buy silvery weapons from players, like a silvery war axe, 6 22 magic, Maybe 50-70pp. You can also go for a Giant Militia Longsword, but they don't sell often. 11 39 magic. Not sure on pric |

I play a half-elf, but more for roleplaying then stats. I made the mistake of not boosting wisdom. If you want to be able to cast well, go with a Wood elf. If you wanna hit a bit harder go with the Half-elf. |

The same Greater Lightstone Quest can be performed by hunting Will-o-wisps in East Commonlands (West as well, but more dangerous) and giving them to one of the female merchants (name starts with an "S") in the gypsy camp in the Oasis of Marr. Or cut down your travelling and sell them at auction for |

Get a Velium Battle Axe. They sell for about 20-30pp and are slightly better than a Finely Crafted Shan'tok, but are magic. I got mine at level 13, which I still am, and it is so good. I got mine in Freeport, but you can get one almost anywhere. Good Luck. |

I recently did this with my Mage who had hit 20. I went to South karana(the Karana with Splitpaw next to it) and near one of the corners is a hut with a door that does not open. Summon your water pet, go up to the side of the hut when 100% mana and health, and say "Kill you" about 3 times. A hermit( |

If I were you, I would make the journey to High Pass Hold. Get in the Orc group or Gnoll group there. There is ok exp there, I made 15-20 there, the loot is good too. Pretty simple trip just go through the Karanas. You may have to be put on a list to join a group, but just wait it out, it will be wo |

There is also a different route to go, High Keep. The exp will be noticeably slower, but much better loot there. From 20-27 or so you can kill in the Guard room, then move down to the Warrior room from 27-31 or so, then the Raider room for a while. This will make you a lot of money. The Warriors and |

Try either West Commonlands or North Ro dervish camps. You can make lvl's 10-15 there, and it should go fast. Then head to High Pass Hold for Orcs or Gnolls from 15-20. Then, if you want loot, go to High Keep and the Goblins there. Or, if you want to lvl faster, go to LOIO and the sarnak fort. I hav |

I agree with the above posts, and i like the Mith 2hs perm haste, and also if you are incredibly twinked get an FBSS for dual wield, and dual wield weps get the two crys swords, unless you have an extra 10k. If you have an extra 10k (i wish i had that) get two Swords of Skyfire. These bad babies are |

I disagee here. First off, any Warrior can have as many as any other warrior. It just matters how many STA points you have. This affects your HP. Second, Ogres are a very very good choice for their STR rating, but Iksars or Trolls have a very fast HP regen time, which makes them much easier to solo. |

That is the "best" strategy. For dual wielding you want anything with low delay and a good ratio. As a lower lvl warrior I don't know a lot about the very high lvl weapons, but I personally use a Silvery War Axe and a PGT. These have low damage but are very quick to strike. If you are looking into a |

I believe there is an item you quest for the swords that allows you to combine them or uncombine them any time you want, it is a requirement to get the swords. The swords themselves are 14/21 I believe. |
