Always remember that AC is more important than stats. Only take the item with better stats if:
1. the stats are extremely good
2. the stats are slightly better with only
a small loss in AC
Ry'gorr is great mid level armor, but if you can't get ivy is a good and usually chea |

You will see the faction hit, if killing something gives you one. Killing bears INSIDE Surefall will give you a faction hit (with jaggedpine treefolk, qeynos qrg protected animals(bears and wolves), and some others. i have also seen faction hits in Kithicor when you kill the wolf or bear that spaw |

as for skill caps: some i know for certain are:
1. defense is lvl x 5
2. i thought offense was (lvl x 5) +5, but at
level 38 or so (lvl 40 right now) it seems
to be the same as defense (??)
3. all others are (lvl x 5)+5
4. dodge has fully capped for me at 137 (i

Get in the boat and sit. Hit "u" for use.
Hmm... I can't remember how to get out, but I've found that getting out is easier (accidentally done it in the middle of the lake TOO often!) Try just standing up or hitting "u" again.
Mouse clicks on other things might also get you out of the boa |

This site is an excellent resource for all skills. Click on the "Skills" category on the left side of the page (between "Races" and "Newbie info") which will lead you to fletching and various websites others have dedicated to the craft.

At lvl 4 you want to fight in either the newbie garden just out from the guards in FoB or in the Lake of Ill Omen zone close to the guards. The Mobs will be white yellow and some reds to a lvl 4, just don't go out to far...... 8)

Warriors are not a soloing class because you are face to face melee with the Mobs. You can get away with it from 1-12,13ish but after that you better start grouping. Most other classes can solo to some extent, some are better at it
than others. IMHO the best solo class is probably a Necro.

OK, here's my 2CP on the subject. First of all, the bow you have is not too shabby, better than the storebought longbow I grew up with. However, with a set of iceclaws strapped to your hand, I don't blame you for wanting to get close and reach out and touch some of those beasties.

I keep trying WTB and get no results. Should I wait until I am high enough to go to Highhold (I am in Qeynos now) and give up f |

There's an excellent site and I think a link to it here. As far as a skill goes to fletch your bow, I wasn't able to do it til 135. May have been able to do it earlier, but didn't want to waste the components. At 135, I was 1 out of 7. Now I'm 200 and still have failures at times and it's not tr |

I use arrows to pull and kite, but if im in a sollid group i will usually go melee becuase dual wielding with double attack. I can out |

This may not be the best, but certainly better than long sword... Go to Faydwer and the Steamfont Mountains and claim a Minotaur Axe from a Minotaur Slaver. It will be good for a few levels, good for dual wield too. Good luck |

I agree with Dober, definately do not attempt it below 100. You will almost certainly waste all your hard work getting the components. |

I dont know how common the weapon is, but I found a militia sword on the docks in freeport for 15p.
specs are 1H slashing, 11 DMG, and 32 Delay.
Has served me well, but Ive never seen another offered since...
who knows, maybe a one per server item ?

The qualities of a master tank are simple and reliable. Simple: keep your casters alive!!!! Reliable: Always put your life on the line for your casters. This in the long run ends up making you friends that will help you in all sorts of wonderful ways. eg: ports, heals, buffs..... Remember as a tank |

Sure buddy, if you don't want to be evil, I suggest a high elf with 25 points in Intelligence and then 5 in Strength in order to help with carrying loot. High elves have good starting INT and can see in the dark. The Mage is a fantastic class that I am sure you will enjoy. |
