| I got a yak in primary and beserker sword in off hand. We all know what a yak looks like. The beserker is pretty tall and has a jagged edge. Looks good. And does the dmg (its 12/36 - I know delay is pretty crap but it does a lot of dmg). | ||||

| No, you can't buy it (except from another player) - if you could, they would have said so... The only place I have head of it dropping is from the Holgresh in Wakening Lands - a 40+ zone... Yes, it is stupid to have it drop there. It may drop elsewhere, but since it is such a worthless spell, | ||||

| You get magic at level 9. When you reach that level, go to the ranger guild and buy your spells (see list on this site). Once you buy them, you have to sit down and scribe (copy it in your spellbook) them which is as easy as dragging the spell over to your spellbook and dropping it into a slot. T | ||||

| Ah..you forget one exception to this thing you call "rumor" friend. I speak from 'smack-myself-in-the-forehead' experience that one CANNOT attack the bears in Surefall Glade. You will...umm, die. | yo this is adalxx diadem of the 35th lvl from Order of Norrath on the Xegony server. ok i barley soloed at all until about lvl 18 in oasis. lvls 1-5 i stayed in gfay and took orcs and such. at 5 i went to butcherblock and fought giant snakes and such solo. i never took soloing much of a thing, | ||||

| Well, the premise in the Game, is that Rangers/ Druids are friends of the animals, and it be simply a philosophical consideration in not killing Wolves/bears etc. I have been in groups where bears etc have attacked members, and I have helped defend them. | Well I was told there are currently two places in Everquest game that offers Experience bonus for leveling there. I am hunting on Kunark, which is the continent where experience bonuses are in effect. Leveling does seem to occur a big quicker on that continent. Foleeny Namesless Server | ||||

| One can check suggestions guides on the various web sites, including this site. (in creating a Ranger) Since rangers are 1/4 Casters and 3/4 Tanks, personally I wished that I had simply put all my points into strength in the beginning, instead of distributing points amongst other characteristics. | ||||

| I play Ranger, Druid, Shaman, Magician myself.... A couple of my buddies are Rogues, and they have lots of fun. Each character in EQ has a unique set of skill sets to participate in the Game. The rogue is a much more challenging role to play in EQ, with a Ranger being "easier" to start out. | ||||

| I agree, I took my Ranger to ILL Omen at level 15, and she has only died once so far. Very Quickly She has now reached her 22nd Season, and will be traveling to Gfay for her 22 spells, but it will be back to Ill Omen, for there still be plenty of Red Critters to smote, for even more experience. | ||||
