| Try for Bloodforge Armor, do the quests and buy it, its really cheap and easy. Level a lil bit, equipment (unless you are twinked) doesnt really start to make a big deal till 10 (when 1st damage cap is taken off) If you cant seem to get bloodforge, or cant afford it, try for chain,banded, and bronz | ||||

| I did some research for the very same reasons. I was a newbie with those questions as a ranger. Start out with a 1hs ( not that you have a choice ) keep this wep maxed at all levels. | Darn. I was all prepared to flame and then you said dwarves were ok. Dwarves actually rule. They get the nightvision barbs don't with only a minor str reduction. They also have far higher dex and agil to troll which I have seen make a huge difference in my 2 high lvl warriors, Ogre and Dwarf. D | ||||

| You can start you Ivy etched quest now. I am lvl 24 but got my first ivy bracer at 22 and second at 23. I will soon have the ivy tunic. | to get a pet you gp to the academy of arcane sciences and buy spell scrolls. summon elemental earth is the one i use so far. You scribe it in your spell book and then you have to buy some malichite from one of the mages in there as well. after that cast yourself a pet and learn the commands for it. | ||||

| No ther is no way around this. You lose the pet and it's weapon, when you zone or camp. Remember to do all business in a zone before hand. It gets expensive when you are young, having to summon a pet twice. And remember to arm your pet with a rusty or summoned weapon. They will do much more damage t | ||||
