Don't kick if you can bash or slam instead. Bash and slam may score a few less points damage but they can stun and kick will not stun. |

Once you have mana, just keep clicking that bad boy while you are medding, or running, or fighting, or, well pretty much doing whatever. Its worth it in the wrong run. Theres nothing like sense heading when you are being chased by 3 mountain giant craigs, and you can't find the stupid LOIO zone. |

Kaynor - The delay of your off hand is irrelevant. You will only attck with it the same time you attack with your primary. The original reply is correct. In your offhand you should be using a high damage weapon and just forget about what the delay. If you could wield a Weighted Axe (45/150) offh |

After lvl 16 put them into research. Research is not trade skills; it can have points put into it past 20. This will make it so you almost never fail researching your new spells. |

How can you call a Ranger a poor puller? In a group, I'm asked to pull if we don't have anyone with SOW since I can snare and don't take a ton of damage on the way back!! I can also track to mobs and if I'm far away, track to a group member to get back quickly. In a good group, once I get back, t |

Seem some like it and some don't think it's worth while. IMHO, at 42nd level, it's one of my most important skills. /loc is nice in many circumstances, but it always requires a period of time to orient oneself. Sense heading tells you immediately what direction you're facing at that moment, and at a |

Yep, same here. My archery had hardly been used til level 20 or so. Once I started to use the skill, I soloed what seemed like hundreds of Griffawns in NK and EK with arrows. Had archery maxed in one level. Got some nice exp too :-)

I have a lvl 26 ranger that had not kept up with the bow. While waiting to join a group, I would ask the group leader if the group was OK with me shooting thier target. I would wait untill they started the attack, snare for them, & then start shooting. Iwent from about 51 to 108 shooting at others |

KEEP THOSE WEAPON SKILLS MAXED FOR SURE. At least 1hs, piercing, maybe even 1hb. 2hs is personal pref. I ignored it and with duel wield & duel attack I would never use a 2hs weapon. However it is nice to use 2hs at low levels but not required. However I did make the mistake of only maxing my 1h |

It's only a pain cause you must not be able to use it correctly. It's invaluable!! Be patient and go to a safe zone to learn how to use it and use it well. If you perfect the use of /loc it's better than sense heading by far. Ignorance is bliss but will get you killed!! LEARN /LOC!!!!!!!!!! |

I too am level 21 and fletching. I only trained one point in it at the beginning. It is now at 108. Fact is it's slow to raise and boring. As long as what your are making is not trivial you just have to keep combining, it will go up. There are some good fletching guides on this very web site th |

I did the same thing but with my piercing an 1hb skills. You have to at least fight creatures that con blue or higher to you to make it go up, strong greens will work but would take decades that way. I agree with the other post that you should find a group fighting reds & yellow and just get permi |

Not true!! I did most of my archery skill raising shooting others MOBS. It raises faster the tougher the mob so try to find people fighting reds & yellows and fire away. As long as you are not KSing they will likely not care. Root & shoot on blues & yellows works well too plus you get XP. Take |

You will have to eventually start shooting at blue or higher. My skill stopped improving on greens around 15-17th level range. I have fired multiple stacks at greens at 18+ without raising the skill at all. But yes greens will work at the lower levels:-) |

Your trainer said: "You must learn advanced skill in the field."
Meaning: You can no longer use practice points to raise your fletching skill, you must actually do some fletching.
Check out the Ranger's Glade site for a great fletching guide. |
