In the long run i think Humans are the best stat wise for Rangers...I play a woodelf myself but infravision becomes available to Human Rangers with a spell at relatively low level ...Rangers are a fighter class and the humans have the strength and stamina upped more at creation than the elves |

Are you serious??? all these posts here about Rangers having trouble finding groups means they must be able to solo duh...
Out of all melee classes Rangers are probably the best at soloing..equipped with a good bow and snare root and an array of dd/dot spells and patience Rangers will find there |

So the Closest place to get a kit is Surefall Glade. Look to the gal in the ranger house near the 3 male venders. If you really want to Fletch go look at and download
Aoenla's Fletching guide there is a link in the skills section here. I have other players who sew and brew and smith.

I have capped out in skills and I miss a god 40 to 50 percent of the time. At first I though it was lack of str and now I am at 233 in str. Still no hope. Is there a reduction in hitting due to my race?(wood elf) has anyone else experienced this problem?
In need of help.

I just got a very good weapon for my Human Warrior. Actually I got 2. Anyway....... Brazen Brass Kilj 10 35 Magic. No bonuses but hits like a ton of bricks and isn't that slow. The rating on the BBK is good so I recomend it to any lvl 15+ warriors out there.
I'm still using mine at lvl 22.

To correctly answer your question ....Yes they are ok....but
A human warrior unfortunately is not as good in the field of combat as a Barbarian,Ogre or Troll...these 3 are the Best Tank Races as their superior strength and stamina makes them formidable Warrior types..

Dual Wield is a skill that allows you to wield a weapon in each hand. This does NOT mean you double your attacks however. The skill initially gives you a small chance every time you swing with your primary weapon for you to get a chance to swing with your secondary (or off-hand) weapon. As your skil |

I'm currently a 10th level Wizard hunting Giant Spiders in the West Commons. They are Yellow to me, but I've discoverd that by getting just within range of my fire bolt spell I can usually get two to three shots off before the spider gets to me. By the time he reaches me his health is down to about |

Rangers are restricted to chain based armors, so for a non-twinked newbie, banded is what you want to shoot for. If you save your money wisely, you can usually get a full set by about 10th level if I remember correctly. Ringmail and chainmail armors drop off higher level critters (starting around |

Good job. I have a base 120 strength as a barbarian (put 13 pts. into agility) for a base of 100. My stats now read 152 str 115 stamina
105 agility and 102 dex . with an AC of 818.

best weapon to use as a warrior twink is usualy the fastest weapon 1hs or 2hs... Once you start fighing larger creatures a fast 2 hander may be better,, but theres a damage cap till 20th level so faster is always better till then.. Axe of the Iron back is an excellent nnoob twink weapon... fast.. |

I have a barbarian warrior... and as a large race you get the "Slam" ability from the get go.
I can not imagine not having a warrior with this ability. I can not count the times our root/snare guy was dozing and a spawn begins to run you slam him and stop him in his tracks and kill him. This ab |

I disagree.. Items that give stamina suck rocks!
plain and simple.. but your HPS are based on your base stamina. 5 pts of stamina as creation
means more than + 5 stamina from your crafted chestplate. But all in all every litle hp counts.

I am curious Brawn Do you use a 2 hander?
and if so what do you prefer.. I have always been partial to 2 handers, even tho it goes agianst your taunting formula. (great taunt guide Btw) I am trying to find out which was better. a Mithral 2 hander.. or an Ornate runeblade.
the mith is 21 dam 40 |

Your stats are all very impressive but did you account for the skill "double attack"?
I out damaged a 45th level monk using a baton and a cane of the tranquile. with my Ornate runeblade. and he was using an FBSS.. this was after counting up damage on a 5000 hp beastie.
several times.
