Agreed, 250 is a lot of money. Lets not forget what 250 plat looked like to the very first character we created.
I can still remember the days when I was extatic to be graciously given a few spare plat by a higher level character.
To spring on from this, it really makes you admire Verant's abili |

try some language skills. i know you can get them from other people but that can take a while (that is if you can find some one who knows the one you want). You can use them in research to read the books. and they are just kind of cool to play around with. |

Hi, I'm currently a lvl 24 Ranger. All I hear is that rangers don't have the defense and hp that a warrior, or even a pally has. I've noticed one mistake in a nice chunk of rangers (even high level ones). They go for str. Str wont make you hit harder but just makes you hit your cap more often. As a |

Easy suggestion for getting into groups |

The best way I have found to get into groups is...
To start one!
I have read many posts here with Rangers complaining about not being able to get into groups and figured it was time somebody stated the obvious.
The technique I use is this:
a) When in a zone I am unfamiliar with, I sol |

I myself always start my own group. I have foud it best to get exp fast and easy, By grouping with a Druid around the same lvl. Get and always have a SOW on you, You can actually tank, cause you have your healer. EXP might be small but you can line em up one right after the other. And there aren't t |

It's a skill that takes a little time to work well. You technically don't HAVE to put a skill point in, but it's a big timesaver. Once you get your skill to 20 or so, it goes up quickly. When I get a new level, I'm usually maxed for Sense Heading within 2 or 3 minutes. Works great if you learn /loc |

I have a lvl 40 Barb warrior. I'll will definatly agree with the afore mentioned tip that soloing is based on the items you have. I made 38-40 in lower guk fighting the 5 ghoul spawn that leads to the water fall. Enough people sat at the zone so that i could get a regen every so often and i also pai |

At Level 20 The Best Thing To Do I Think Is To Just Level, Worry About New Stuff Later On, If You Worry About Fancy Items More Than Exp, You Will Notice All Your Friends Are Level 55 With Some Awesome Equipment. Just what is Mana? I'm a level 7, half-elf Ranger that isn't even sure if the mana bar is supposed to be blue or gray. Mine is constantly on gray. What do I need to do to improve Mana? I cannot find a good explanation of what this is all about. Sorry if this sounds ignorant, but I need to know. |

Your mana is magic points. Rangers can't use spells until level 9. At that point, your Mana bar will turn blue. |

Looks like you are doing good for now, in about 6 lvls you can complete the screaming mace quest, that is a decent mag weapon. Dwarven Ringmail Tunic is nice armor but with 3 less AC than banded. You need a decent bow, though

I am only lvl 19, but no way in hell would I sacrifice 13 ac, especially not for the wis. You'll die before you ever get a chance to use the extra mana, besides, except in extreme circumstances your melee abilities are more important to a group than your spellcasting |
