I'll tell you right now, when you have a wizard in your group blasting away at a mob, you'll want to be dual-wielding. I don't know if that is the same for the Planes or not...from what I understand warrior up there usually use a 1h weapon and a sheild for the extra ac.

We can solo the mob while the rest of the group struggles on the others! |

yes taunting can get you killed but most of the time, with at least two other Melees it works great. As long as the others are same or higher level then you it should be ok to taunt..... |

oh yeah, and if you have a great weapon you will get into problems.I think the trick is not to get on top of the mobs hate list but to at least be on par with your teammates, this will confuse the mob and spread the damage evenly. |

Hello
Wieght is important,in other words you want to carry as little as possible.I am a level 44 wood elf ranger and with all my gear my Wieght to Streight ratio is around .4 to 1.With all my STR gear im at around 145 and i dont like to carry more then around 60.I think its like monks where they do |

I really only like playing Iksar... for the life of me I don't understand why there are no Iksar Wizards. Yes, I know the fiction has it that the Iksar are a 'lost' race who are building themselves back up (thus you have the Shaman) but, still, Kunark has been out a year or more now and they should |

I second Giddy's opinion. I'm currently 28 and have found Ill Omen to be good zone to solo safely in. If you don't mind low blues, then you can pull things on the west side of the lake to the lake shore. Best part is, if you get bored of soloing, there's always a demand for a good tank here. |

I like troll warriors best, the ogre's stats, stun resistantce, and hp bonus makes them the best warrior class for many people, but I enjoy soloing alot, which is very hard to do with warriors after the early levels. If you are like me siting around waiting to heal hp when soloing, you can refil |

SSoM and Silvery Axe did me extremely nicely until some kind guildmate passed on a pair of Yaks. I'd still recommend trying to pick up a decent 2hs and keep the skill up, cos later weapons like the silver swiftblade (16/24 2hs) are SERIOUSLY devestating - especially when combined with FBSS or the l |

Don't give up on your Ranger.. You won't realize your full potential until you get to 49th. In order to get to 50th it takes alot of hard work. But if you want fast XP fight in the Dreadlands outside Karnor's Castle. You will get XP there til 52nd level. There is no Uber gear that drops there or gre |

The reason people are so divided on the question of which race is best for mage is simple : we are the least mana dependant casters in the game. Our pets do most of the work...
What this means is that ANY of the allowable classes make good mages. Having a large mana pool is nice but 99% of the ti |

I think, my fellow Ranger, that being the Wood Elf is really the best way to play the Ranger. You can get all the good abilities alot earlier, for ex. you get track on lvl 1, bind wound on lvl 2, and thats about all that I know - never got farther, but belive me Wood Elf Rangers RULE!!!!

A level 30 Ranger should be using dual wield and double attack. You get a lot more damage that way. And don't overlook Kick...it adds up. |

I can belive this has went on this long without anyone stating the "fact" that you should be able to keep "all" of your weapons maxed out at each level. I am lvl 20 (Dwarf War) and I am a master of all weapons. Kick, taunt, swimming and sense head are also mastered. Bash is not far behind at all. Yo |

My pet in zones with weird pathing is more of an annoyance than a help, which is what kept me out of Crushbone. In some group situations I am able to convince people to let me be the puller, that way there is no problem for me as far as targeting. If you are doing it right, you'll just have one mob |
