Just so you know where I'm coming from...I only play the hunter class. It rocks. Nuff said. I am a casual player, and I can't participate in end-game raids and strive for the super epic gear (realistically). My first hunter was Nibbana on Feathermoon, lvl 60 N.E. marksman spec. She's got half of the Beast Stalker set and mainly uses the Hurricane bow...did a lot of raids with her, but I got tired of raiding...and for other reasons, I don't play her too much anymore. My second hunter was Ninni, a dwarf, also on FM, who I used to experiement with different specs/styles of play...but I gave up on her around lvl 20....So I could play Nibbrah! She's beast spec (mainly) with some points in Survival and Marks to enhance her solo PvE ability. She's decked in Blues (alternating between Black DS and Green DS) and uses the Ice Barbed Spear and DHC. Then there's Nibbiros, who I intended to be a surv/melee focused hunter, but he's basically my Warsong Gulch "twink" and will prolly stay at lvl 19 for a while (I hate to admit it, but I love winning and owning the BG ) My newest avatar is Ur, a male Night Elf on Zuluhed, one of the new PvP servers...he's mid 20's right now, and I've got a little more work to do on him before I write more about him.
